"You really came back," Jade said with a strange look on his face.
"What? I said I will come back to give you something, haven't I?" I replied while glancing at the time. If I handed over the item to him and returned it as soon as possible, I could still make it for the afternoon sale.
"No, I mean, you just came here yesterday. When you said you were going to come again later, I didn't think it would be this fast."
"I'm busy, and I don't know when you will return to school, so it's better if I gave it to you soon."
"Well, come in first," He said as he made way for me to enter. However, I raised my hand to refuse him.
"You don't have to let me in. I'm just going to give you the item, and then I'll go back." I said while rummaging through my shopping bag. From inside, I pulled out a white envelope. I gave it to Jade.
