I was wholeheartedly about to refuse when Cassian suddenly said timidly beside me. "P-please look after me."
He stared at me with an embarrassed and nervous expression. He looked so harmless that no one could bring themselves to reject his simple request.
While I was distracted, Mr. Hudson had walked away while saying, "Then I'll leave it to you. Class dismissed."
I wanted to dump the task on Kelly since she was the class representative. However, Cassian's pitiful look softened my heart, so I eliminated that idea.
Well, there was no harm in doing it, might as well do it quickly.
I stood up from my chair. "Let me show you around."
