"Thank you for today," Maya said as we dropped the two off in front of their house.
"Thank you so much!" Mia said brightly.
It was already dark by the time we got back and, well, I thought it best that the both of us dropped them home after learning that they WALKED all the way from their house to ours, getting lost several times along the way.
They took three hours to get to our house. No wonder. They started out at five in the morning and reached us by eight.
Because we lived thirty minutes away from them, thirty minutes by car. If they had taken a taxi, they would have gotten to us early in the morning.
I am just so glad they did not get to us early and decided to walk instead.
We dropped them off at their house and then Yale asked me to help them carry their things into their house. She just wanted a reason to enter their house.
