"What?" Maya asked, looking at me, insulted.
"I said leave." I waved my hands at the two of them. "The car is parked quite far from here so you both can take that. Here, the keys."
"Wait, why?" Mia asked as the two stepped away from the keys in my hands that I held out to the two.
"You both do not have to help us. You can leave." I explained once again. "You owe no obligation to us or to him. We will try to hold off here."
"Wait. Wait. Wait. I am still not understanding." Mia waved her hands in the air. "Aren't you supposed to be asking us for help? Did I miss something here?"
"I cannot promise that I would be able to get four groups to come in five minutes," I said, looking at the watch on my wrist. "It will start once they approve of it. So I don't want you both to be in trouble because of us." I said, turning to Yale talking into the phone, a frown coming on her face.
