Chapter 113 - Invictas Ute and the Gebrion Weaponry...

Part of Echos reasoning, beside easing the construction workload on Carter or the other A.I Spirits, was to an A.I Spirit that would specialise in managing all of the starship and their equipment.

Being able to leave the care of the Stellar Fleet in the hands of a separate A.I Spirit was much better than having a dozen minds making different decisions that would fail in combat, leaving greater issues down the road.

Echo had called Esmond to meet him at the institute so they could discuss the creation and coding of the new A.I that would be joining the family.

"I like the name you've chosen for her… but do you think her authority and abilities are sufficient?"

Echo fully understood that he knew nothing in comparison to Esmonds history with creating A.I Programs and designate them to manage a certain aspect of work.

Hell, it was obvious to Echo how his own programming was created before when he was EDI and how his development led him to because who he is now.

However, a large part of that was reliant on Esmonds knowledge and understanding over the dangerous subject of creating artificial intelligence.

Echo learnt a great deal from Carter about Esmonds past since nobody beside Carter was allowed access to his memories, but the few times Echo did get a chance to look at them., all that came to his mind was grief and sadness how someone could live through all of that chaos.

.

"Celeste… will have enough authority to create starship and other equipment necessary for the Stellar Fleet.

This includes the manufacturing facilities; she will need to connect with Kane when it comes to military development.

There will be times Celeste will need to get in touch with you or Carter as well, so its best she has some autonomy, but within reason.

You and Carter can easily monitor that based on both of your capabilities." Echo found himself agreeing with Esmond however he felt Celeste would require the appropriate education in the A.I Virtual World so she could work well with others and no go off to do her own thing.

Worried that Celeste might go ahead and do her own thing outside of the safety of the Spatial Ark Star World, Echo decided to keep her confined to the space for now.

She wouldn't be required in the near future unless Esmond or Carter called her up to work on the spaceships in secret around the Solar System, though it would be safer to do all of that work within the Space.

.

While Echo helped Esmond with his work at the institute creating Celestes A.I. coding, Tulluan came by Esmonds Lab with news from the Virtual Labs.

"My Lord…

I have some news about a couple of projects within the Virtual Labs, and something that's been found on Gebrion…"

Esmond perked up his ears as Tulluan moved over to the nearest computer and brought up the information on the large screens and monitors.

Not even waiting for Tulluan to explain, Esmond shouted the first words that came to his mouth.

"Phitup Thunk!... *Cough* I mean…

Pickup truck…or Ute…" Esmond tried to cover up his little slip up the best he could but Echo and Tulluan weren't about to let it slide as they both stared at him like he was crazy.

"… There was something stuck in my throat guys…" Esmond tried to explain but neither was taking him seriously.

"Err… yes… a Ute…

Anyway, these vehicle designs have been selected out of the many different ones sent in by the residents, with some alterations done so they could meet certain criteria and laws about automobiles in various nations.

Invicta, the Ute model series has been designed to include a large touch screen panel in the dashboard that will control all aspects of the vehicle.

Air conditioning, heating, music and so on can be controlled from it and devices with Bluetooth can connect easily.

We've also allowed for internet connectivity within the vehicle, but besides the gadgets included, the real interesting stuff is the mechanical operations of the Invicta Model." Tulluan had the monitors show the Ute in action, driving across tough terrain without causing any issue for those siting inside of the Ute cabin.

The suspension used an electromagnetic suspension system that would keep the car level while driving over all sorts of terrain.

Whether it was a small hole in the road or speed bumps along the way, the car would keep level as the suspension would equalise the body of the vehicle.

For the Invicta model, the scientists working on developing the cars for the Zathra Motors brand had decided to incorporate the technology of the far superior electromagnetic system from the Virtual Labs.

Though the original design of the electromagnetic system made for the Ute was ahead of any other suspension system on offer all around Earth, compared to the other electromagnetic systems in the Lab it was subpar.

Adding the advance systems into a vehicle like a Ute was quite a shocking move and extremely costly for Zathra Motors to build Utes with the system included.

Tulluan felt like he knew what the answer would be if he asked Esmond about including the electromagnetic system in the final version of the Invicta Ute that would be sold out in the world.

But he still had to ask for confirmation, since there was no knowing if Esmond by deploy the designs elsewhere.

There were other technical changes and improvements made to the Invicta model, that had spread out to the other vehicle models Zathra would eventually put on sale.

But all the developers felt it would be best to get an idea of Esmonds thoughts on the suspension before they brought out the rest of the changes.

.

Just as Tulluan was going to ask for Esmonds thoughts on the proposition for the Invicta Utes, he brought up another issue that also needed his Lords opinion.

"… There are also items we've found on Gebrion… that might be of value."

The next image that came across the monitors was mountains of weapons like swords, spears, bows, and plenty of other weaponry that was damaged.

"The drones and droids have sorted through a portion of the waste all over Gebrion, but we found large pile of weapons that seemed to have certain work done to them that makes them stronger than even I expected." Tulluan also mentioned the weapons were made with out of various techniques.

Because their background focused primarily on technology, the Thazukraans couldn't figure anything out about them, passing over the work to the institute.

Till now they had only figured out the weapons were made out various materials from different worlds, each with their own spin on the forging methods.

Esmond thought about examining the weapons but knew it would take up quite a lot of time, so he was left wondering what to do.

Echo in the meantime thought of another solution that Esmond hadn't considered whatsoever.

.

"What not call Kizelar to help out?

He is the scholar of the Library of Raibeelze, but since we haven't allowed students to visit the library just yet, I'm sure we could use his expertise."

Echo said, that was agreed on by Esmond and Tulluan alike.

A notification was sent out to Kizelar by Echo, asking for him to head over to the institute.

At the same time, Esmond told Tulluan to retrieve a small portion of the weapons so they could present them to Kizelar and see what he knew off the bat.

It wasn't a long wait before the weapons and Kizelar arrived at Esmonds personal lab in the institute.

"My Lord, you have called for me, how can I be… of service…" Kizelar had to pause for a moment while speak when his eyes caught onto the weapons stacked up on a couple work benches.

Esmond and the others saw Kizelars eyes move over in the direction of the swords.

Everyone beside Kizelar had a smile on their face, believing they had done the right thing by calling Kizelar.

"Seems like you have already caught on to the sight of the weapons.

I've called you in fact to help identify the methods and techniques used for their creations.

From the usefulness of those techniques to the cons, I want to know everything.

This will be important for our developing in Stovi, so I hope you can find out as much as you can." Speaking with a smile, Esmond calm attitude had a noble charm which Kizelar sensed through the order.

It wasn't anything compared to the strength of his previous Master of the library, Kizelar felt his current Lord would far exceed the previous lord's peak level of strength in no time.

Using the Spatial Ring gifted to him by Isabelle, Kizelar stored a large part of the weapons, leaving only a few out that he was about to analyse.

Spending a couple minutes examining a weapon, Kizelar was able to analyse around 15 different swords, daggers, spears and so on.

Sitting to the side, Esmond and the others watched Kizelar take notes while carefully inspecting the weapons on the work benches.

Only after he'd reread and checked everything written down in his small notebook, that Kizelar believed himself to be ready to inform his Lord with enough news.

.

"There are runic, inscription, enchanted and the traditional forged weapons among the pile of fifteen I was able to quickly examine.

However,… I have noticed some of the language and methods are different than what I thought possible."

"How so?" Interested to always learn and develop his own knowledge base, Esmond asked Kizelar for more information.
