"If you look at this sword…" Kizelar passed over a sword that appeared similar in design to a Ninjato, a short sword with a straight blade with a circular guard to Esmond who started checking out the glowing writing.
"That sword, while not 'technically' broken… it has certain cracks and shattered connections that linked the characters written onto the weapon.
On the subject of characters, they are different from what is written and stored within the library.
While the characters have the same ability as language, I was taught Aastesi, the language used on the sword flows better.
The Aastesi letter for fire couldn't simply be written onto the weapon without the letters of combustion, fuel, and control were included.
At the very least, those four characters must be utilised.
Now the language on the short sword uses a letter for fire, but the construction of the single letter includes control, fuel, and the other characters.
This comes down to the forging or finishing methods used, and from what I can tell so far, the condensed letters require the smiths own Mana Energy infused into the weapon.
They would need to amplify their own Mana Energy and funnel it into the hand that will guide the inscribing tool across the blade.
Of course, the use of Mana Infused Ink is necessary throughout the process but being able to channel one's own energy into the weapon would allow the forgers mind to connect with it as well.
If the first connection can be made through the initial character inscribed onto a weapon, then the rest shouldn't be too hard to achieve.
Though this is where the critical steps come into place if you want to add the supportive letters to help the main character function."
.
Esmond asked some more question to help alleviate any and all burning thoughts in his mind, which were carefully answered by Kizelar.
His curiosity into the methods used to create the forged weapons worried Kizelar, since what he'd found on the weapons so far spelled destruction.
None of the methods were entirely stable or entirely functional in Kizelars mind because there was no real connection between the user and the weapon.
He also explained this to Esmond, saying a weapon of true quality could connect mentally with its wielder and teach them so much more about their weapon than what it seemed.
However, this rarely happened because according to Kizelar, there was no 'True' smith out in the universe anymore that could create a 'genuine' weapon.
.
"How about the current method we are using for inscription-based weapons and materials?"
Tulluan had closely followed everything Kizelar had said and continued to cross check it with the current systems in place.
Uploading the footage from the inscription facility created within the Spatial Ark Star World, Kizelar could closely watch the work that was being done on all sorts of materials that were either being stored for later use or ready to be sent out into Stovi.
Looking over the footage, a key part stood out to Kizelar who straight away asked Tulluan to play it back and if possible, zoom in closer.
Only after he rewatched the footage several times, could Kizelar figure out what was happening and how effective it was.
Echo even filled him in on certain information about the printing process that was created using Magic Crystals as the power source to ensure the effect of the printing stayed on the weapons.
"Mm… Sir Tulluan…"
"Please, just call me Tulluan."
"Very well… Tulluan, thank you.
Now… what I've noticed with the 'Printing' operation you've designed is its affects will degrade the materials rather quickly if the area they are used within has very little Mana Energy.
The next source it would draw energy from would be the wielder of the weapon.
In that case, the wielder would die…" Kizelar brought up some startling facts that immediately made Esmond turn his head to stare coldly at Echo for not testing the process and the integrity of the materials.
Echo calmly defended himself, as he'd prepared himself early on for such question from Esmond but was never asked in the end when he was first introduced to the printing method.
With a smug grin on his face, "All materials are coded to draw energy from the source of its creation, the Spatial Ark Star World, which is also monitored and controlled by the other printed codes that gives myself and my siblings authority to intervene if things look dire.
We have also equipped certain weapons to have Magic Crystal embedded into the handles, which then acts as the reserve Mana Energy bank." Esmond was rather impressed by how Echo had assessed the issue and put in safety measures without him having to specify.
"In addition, the items created using the 'Printing' method is primarily for the forces within the Spatial Ark Star World and other areas where the space has influence." Echo wanted Kizelar to understand the Printing style was done to support the massive army legions in the future that would need all sorts of protective measures to fight off even the most miniscule problems.
.
"Hmm…
Have you thought about converting the Magic Crystal into Mana Liquid Essence and using that to write onto the materials?" Tulluan was surprised by Kizelars question and had to look over in Echos direction for confirmation.
Echo shook his head to signal 'no' because he hadn't come across such information from Esmonds memories as of yet and even then, he wasn't certain how they would print using Mana Liquid Essence.
"Kizelar, I want you to get involved with the work happening here from time to time.
Eventually more and more people will head over to the library soon so you will be busy soon.
If you need help managing the work at the library, don't forget to ask for help." Esmond believed it would be better if Kizelar was involved in some of the magical projects happening at the institute.
Kizelar himself was overjoyed at the prospect of working with others that would give him new insightful ideas and opinions.
Just the small time spent around the institute and the footage of the printing process had enlightened him to think of various infrastructure which could be added to the library facilities.
Esmond left the institute and went home to the cabin so he could rest while the others continued on with their work.
He was interested in visiting the Virtual Labs to work on the vehicle designs for Zathra Motors, but Esmond ended up instead watching some shows to pass the time.
While sitting back and relaxing in front of the television in the lounge room, Esmond wondered about Rahzil.
'*Sigh* he's probably training or doing something else…
That reminds me, I should go and check out the Chronicle Elemental Lake…'
.
If Rahzil knew what Esmond was thinking, he would have found it rather pleasing Esmond was focused on the Lake instead of him.
Now that he had arrived in Astelan, Rahzil decided to find the Exalted Night Heavenly Sect as soon as possible but with his summoning in the middle of a large forest, it took him some time before a town was found.
During his days travelling through the forest, Rahzil came across a variety of beasts that could easily annihilate millions with no issue, but Rahzil had a trump card like no other.
His Undead BoneLight Dragon named Spina, was able to crush anything that came before its master, very quickly increasing the number of beasts in Rahzils storage but more importantly, it raised Spinas level greatly.
Fully capable of adjusting its own size, Spina transformed into a small snake that could rest on Rahzils shoulder or wrap itself freely around his throat.
It was done to conceal the immense size of Spina that had largely grown because of its huge boost in levels after killing beasts that were mountains ahead in levels.
Mainly because its powers were largely a weakness for many of the beasts within the forest, they quickly died and spurned Spinas growth.
Having entered their first town, Rahzil noticed the level of lifestyle of the common people on Astelan was quite as bad, if not worse than Stovi.
Changing his clothing to seem simple with the help of the Dark element wrapped around Rahzils body, he was able to get directions for the Exalted Night Heavenly Sect.
Not knowing what to expect, Rahzil imagined it to be like the organisations employed by the nobles or royalty to do their bidding in secret.
They were powerful people that could get any type of work and still complete it without a problem.
Rahzil had even taken over such an organisation during his earlier days as a Lich, so he thought of himself as an expert but when he arrived at the Sect, only then did the realisation hit him that he knew nothing.
