Chapter 85 - Rahzils Tales of Stovi...

Fully knowledgeable on the powers of the AllSpark, Carter had prepared the space from not giving the item full authority to affect items within the space.

Rather, Carter had his own plans for the AllSpark once he learned more about its functions and capabilities.

It stored a near infinite amount of energy, since it would be required to birth new Cybertronians, but it would also create the fuel for them to continue operating.

All of that had been adopted by the space and was currently spawning more and more fuel that was going into storage.

Carter had some ideas to create some crops with the makeup of energy particles similar to their fuel so the Transformers could enjoy some of the flavours and textures on offer within the space.

Esmond calmed down and decided to spend the rest of the night with the family as some were already gathered in the lounge room watching an animation film.

Echo and Carter seemed to be away for now busy with some tasks around the space.

The rest were currently watching the film and conversing about random things, with each of them forming their own personality from continuous study and growth.

.

When the following morning came, Esmond decided to head over to the Pure Dark Mana Essence River to find Rahzil.

After Rahzil had spent time with the scientists at the institute, he ended up heading for the Dark Mana River so he could begin training and absorbing the dark mana.

Because he didn't participate in the conference yesterday at the institute, Rahzil had spent the day soaking within the river.

Unlike the Dark Mana River currently on Stovi, the Dark Mana River within the space remove many of the negative effects and connotations that came with it.

.

Appearing at the River, Esmond saw Rahzil seemed to be sitting on a platform that slowly introduced liquid of the river for him to absorb in portions instead of flooding his body.

"How far have you gotten Rahzil?" Esmond asked once he reached Rahzils side and started to inspect the mediating block which was obviously crafted by Carter or the other A.I Spirits.

"… In all my years… I have finally improved…

From the stagnation I've experienced for so long, I've gone through so much change and improve within the last day…" Rahzil hadn't moved from his position once he was shown the Pure Dark Mana River.

In all the times he'd spent at the river, Rahzil saw his body go through a transformation where it saw him control the two composing elements of Light and Dark.

Because his skeleton body had flesh, skin, and a fully functional body anatomy, but it came with the Light element from the space as a result.

Rahzil was supplied with a Spatial Stone from the space what was configured by Isabelle to have a large storage space equivalent of 100 cubic square metres, which had been filled with Light Magic Crystals.

Placing a few around his body, Rahzil was absorbing the dense Pure Light Mana Element into his body while also taking in the Pure Dark Mana Essence River.

.

"The Elements within my Core don't seem to be entirely fixed and stable just yet, but I don't think it's far off."

Rahzil decided to clarify his power scaling method, which happened to be how the world of Stovi currently measured strength, skills, and abilities.

"Hold on….

You're telling me… you created the damn Adventurer Guild and the scaling system?" Esmond couldn't believe what he was hearing from Rahzil since it was shocking to hear that Rahzil was connected to such a lording power of the world.

"Yeah… even though those bastards chose not to help me when my Empire fell at the hands of those greedy fucking nobles…

Anyway…

I was one of the founding pricks that created the Guild and the systems they use.

Honestly, we did everything in the hopes it would make life easier for the common people but again… bastards with power will want to seize whatever they can…

I ended up using my own creation to keep me alive and moving ahead… even if I didn't…"

Rahzil further explained it was difficult to increase his level through meditation once he became a Lich and was stuck by the river in the depths of the caves.

"How does it work then?

Well, your 'system'…" Esmond inquired since his system was much different than the others.

Plus, when he first registered with the Guild, his stats were protected and not completely released to the Guild Database.

"My system… or the one that is active through the world, connects directly with the core and in turn the soul of the body, ensuring your System Display is locked to you.

It shows the affinity you might have with elements, skills, abilities, and other important information the System Display will automatically record.

Before the System Display, people would need to have their Body Cores scanned through external objects like the orb the Guild used to use…

Who knows if they still do but if they haven't stopped innovating then they should be far ahead."

Rahzil didn't know, much to the confusion of Esmond for a moment before he realised that the Guild hadn't adopted new technology, with the orb still being used.

Esmond understood that Rahzil must have had some power or strength that the others feared and probably meant the involvement of the Guild too.

Since Rahzil never considered his work to be much but a simple project he'd worked on from time to time, Esmond wasn't told the full extent of his strength, abilities, and legend throughout Stovi.

.

"Anyway, I created a rank system based on multiple criteria.

In the case of a Mage… actually they all have the same fucking shit with slight differences." Rahzil said abruptly for some reason, much to Esmonds amusement who felt like another kindred soul had been found.

"There are roughly… an unknown number of stages for now…

But they all work on the same premise.

100 levels equalled one stage.

10 stages would equal 1 tier.

Now, you could work on condensing the elemental spark within your Core through meditation, but you needed materials for that like these Magic Crystals," Rahzil continued to practise while chatting with Esmond, not even stopping to point out the Crystals since he expected Esmond to know.

"Only after you've trained with these Crystals could someone with a System Display exceed others who might be on the same level or above in some cases.

By the time I went into hiding, people were beginning to try and source Crystals since the news had reached the ears of the common folk.

At that time my strength was roughly 1 Tier, 6 Stages, and 94 Levels.

In simpler terms, my level was 1,694, but since coming here and starting to train once again, I've hit past 1,701, but I'm more concerned with improving my affinity with the Light Element.

To my surprise though, I've gained Pure Light affinity which seems to be near the peak form of the Element in my opinion."

Esmond could hold back the grin across his face as a part of his anxiety seemed to wash away when he thought about the future and having to battle the monsters of various Empires.

'There's gotta be others like Rahzil throughout Stovi…' Esmond thought to himself before he decided to take a dip into the river.

.

There seemed to be a little pool made beside the river which would take the in Pure Dark Mana Essence River water for Esmond to swim in rather than diving into the flowing water.

The Pure Dark Mana started to course around Esmonds body like a whirlpool, as more and more Dark water continued to be absorbed by Esmonds Primordial Body and sent straight to the Pure Dark Spark within the Artus Anima Star.

"Monster…" Spilled out of Rahzils mouth accidently, when he opened his eyes to see the gigantic swirls of Pure Dark Mana being absorbed by Esmond within a flash.

Rahzil was a Lich who'd lived for far too long so there was never a time he felt it was necessary to be polite, so Rahzil said whatever on his mind.

Esmond chuckled when he heard Rahzil blurt out what was on his mind.

"Hehe…

Yes… I am indeed… a monster." Esmond said while looking into the distance, much to Rahzils understanding and shock.

He understood Esmond had gone through more than his fair share of grief and discomfort but unlike himself, it seemed Esmond had accepted his fate rather than fight it.

The two continued to train in peace while sharing stories.

Esmond would recount his previous lives to Rahzil who in turn would answer Esmonds questions about Stovi.

Since Rahzil had ben in hiding for over 3000 years, he had no real knowledge of what was currently happening with his last report of the world roughly 500 years old.

.

"So… Lady Siannae was the elder sister of Wells Trika, right?" Esmond was trying to wrap his mind around the chaos that led to Rahzils authority being overthrown and his family slaughtered.

"Yep… because she failed the Magic Core Binding process and shattered her elemental crystals, she was left in a near death state, unable to survive without constant attendance.

Her brother, Wells, was one of my trusted councillors who believed my wife had caused Siannae harm since she spent a great deal of time with me, but in fact he was dead wrong.

My dear wife was the one that taught her because of their affinity with the core elements, whereas I was connected with Fire and Wind." Magic Core Binding turned out to be Magic Circles that'd form around the core.

Esmond noticed that a lot of the processes had stayed the same from the time of Rahzils dominance over the land with just terms changing here and there.
