"Carter, are you fucking serious right now?!" Esmond cursed at Carter, believing him to be the cause of the mix up.
Though Esmond loved the X-Men film, he wasn't keen on heading over to the mutant world just yet, as his plan had been Halo first.
For some reason as he turned the T.V on, he also started his ability which mixed things up and sent Esmond to the X-Men World.
.
'Bah… fuck…
Yeah, sorry about that.
I had the T.V programmed to play X-Men as it turned on.
Oh... by the way, Eddies buying some media groups… thought you'd want to know…'
Just the nonchalant attitude of Carter was pissing Esmond off, but he calmed himself down before trying to figure out a plan.
He wasn't standing too far away from the grounds of the Xavier mansion, with students in eyesight, so Esmond went for a simple college/university look, even holding some textbooks in hand.
.
'Pray this works…!'
Esmond started walking in the direction of the Mansion, keeping an eye out for anyone that might approach him suddenly.
Everything was going swell, until he tried to enter the mansion and bumped straight into a young, short kid wearing glasses.
Frazzled by the hit, the kid scrambled to pick up his stack of books, as Esmond contemplated bolting down the mansion's corridor, but he stopped and started helping the kid.
"Sorry…
I wasn't looking where I was going…
I'm Esy by the way…"
"M-my name is Todd…"
The kid was too shy and panicked to say anything besides his name, though he hesitated at first.
Esmond could tell the kid meant nothing bad, so after sorting him out, Esmond was about to send him away, but Todd grabbed onto the sleave of his shirt.
.
"Y-you seem to be in a rush…" Todd asked, noticing Esmond looking down the hall of the mansion from time to time.
Esmond didn't panic, rather he was straight forward with Todd.
Hell, it was a quest in a world designed by the system, so Esmond wasn't too fixated on not completing the mission, if it meant harming Todd or anyone else.
"Actually… I need to find Professor Xaviers lab.
Seems when I was working there last, I forgot some of my things near Cerebro…"
"Oh… I can help with that…"
Todd started walking in front of Esmond, has he led him through the busy corridors of the mansion.
He had roughly 3 minutes remaining before the quest ended, but Esmond wasn't in a rush as he soon found himself underground and roughly a dozen or so metres from the entrance to Cerebro.
Esmond summoned a small gate, calling a couple drones to his side while he continued following Todd who walked Esmond straight over to the entrance to Cerebro.
Even though he was deadly curious about Todd, Esmond brushed his hands near the panelling that controlled the door to Cerebro, letting the drones hack into the system as he covered them with his body so Todd wouldn't be able to tell.
The wait wasn't long before the doors opened and the impressive dome and set up of Cerebro was in full view.
Again, Esmond stepped forward and let his drones handle the work to remove the sabotage but as they were working, Todd spoke up, questioning Esmond.
"… Nothing seems to be out of place here…
Are you sure you left it here?"
Todd was already walking out of the Cerebro lab with his eyes firmly glued onto Esmond, trying to gauge if he was seriously, he to find something he forgot.
The students all had special items designed to suit their personalities so the item wouldn't be caught out by peaking eyes.
In Todds case it was his glasses that had a panic button on the side.
Just as he reached to 'readjust' his glasses, Esmond started to walk out of the lab with Carter confirming everything was done and it was time to leave.
.
"The professor might have picked it up…"
With a helpless expression that seemed depressed somewhat, Esmond slowly stepped out of the lab and started walking back with Todd to the elevator before the system notified him it was time to leave.
Before Todd even looked back, Esmond had already clicked 'Accept' and vanished into thin air, leaving behind a puzzled and frightened Todd.

'Damnit!' Esmond cursed his luck for meeting Todd.
He was distraught for not being awarded more items or something worthwhile other than the Xavier Mansion.
Seeing that he was back in the cabin, and Carter was sitting across from him with some popcorn in hand, Esmond felt like jumping over the coffee table and punching Carter in the jaw.
He held off however and left for the institute.
Esmond found some faculty members and asked them to find a spot where he could place the layout of Xaviers Mansion.
Once they found some space not too far away from the head building of the institute, Esmond activated his reward and placed the mansion down.
Just then a notification from the system came through to alert him.

[Scientists can examine the Mutant Code and reach a better understanding of the Code with help from Xaviers Mansion]
.
Once the mansion appeared and some people started to pour, Esmond left for the Cabin, leaving everything in the hands of the faculty members.
He wanted to start working on some other project in the meantime like floating island to be set up on the small islands in his possession.
The only reason he didn't start on the project was to let the other scientists come up with the work.
Knowing it might take time for them to design certain products of his imagination, he'd left some ideas with Tulluan and the institute if they ever felt like they didn't know what to work.
However, there was one important megastructure he could design immediately, which would help with the current overload of energy.
Carter and the other A.I were working around the clock to continually produce power cells that could take in the energy generated by the Star.
Already, Esmond was receiving only a portion of the Stars power which was giving him 1 million Exp per minute.
Esmond had no plans to increase the amount of Exp he was receiving as he didn't want to level up just yet and planned to accumulate the Exp for now.
But at the same time, he wanted to use up as much of the energy possible that the space was generating.
The power cells were filling up in no time, but the problem remained about them being made fast enough.
Because of that problem Carter had brought up to him a little bit back, Esmond believed it would be best for him to start work on the megastructure from his past.
.
Esmond planned on creating an Energy sphere that would vastly improve the prospects of his Empire throughout the galaxy.
An Energy Sphere was a megastructure developed by the Aizeaborg Federation to help eliminate wasted energy from the Stars within their Federation.
The Aizeaborg Federation were fortunate enough to come across alien megastructures around the stars that helped catch the energy they produced.
At first it was manageable with one star, but soon they found several more stars with the same alien structure, leading to them producing too much energy which they couldn't handle or use.
A scientist and mentor to Esmond in that lifetime, named Bolas, came up with the idea of the Energy Sphere and immediately started work on the design.
His work on creating the Energy Sphere led to him meeting Esmond later in life, but it was his student that made the Energy Sphere so much more than it was.
Though the Aizeaborg Federation only considered the Energy Sphere a powerful storage battery, Esmond helped realise the sphere could also connect and work with their spaceships.
Because of the near infinite energy amount in storage, Esmond found a way to use the quantum communication to beam energy straight from the Energy Sphere and refill the spaceships of the Federation.
It was ground-breaking technology to ultimately led to Esmonds capture by the elites of the Federation till he was killed by his mentor, Bolas once he saw the lifelessness in his former student.
.
Esmond thought if he could rebuild the Energy Sphere within the space while improving upon the mistakes Bolas never got around to fixing, he would be able to start his reign through the galaxy without anyone possibly matching the endless level of energies at their disposal.
While thinking over his next step, Carter ended up calling which helped him with his decision in the end.
'Hey dumbass… you still wanna play and shit?'
The corners of Esmonds mouth curved upwards slightly as he shifted to the cabin and saw Carter on the couch with a similar smile to his own.
"… I put in Halo…" because of the upgrades that automatically happen to items brought from outside unless Carter was informed first to stop the space, however nobody did, since the upgrades would be amazing.
The Xbox 360 Esmond brought over from his home in Adelaide had upgraded to being able to play games from all consoles without any problems reading the disc.
Regardless of that, Carter or any of the other A.I could upload a game straight to the console for Esmond.
Same for films and other media, but Esmond didn't have the time to check out all of its functions as he simply just wanted it to play games.
As Esmond sat down and grabbed the controller, he saw Halo start loading up just as Spectral Consciousness ability was about to kick in.
Unfortunately, Carter hadn't got over cleaning up all of the blood and replacing part of the furniture, so he changed the game in the last second, before watching Esmond disappear.
Uncontrollable laughter filled the cabin as Carter rolled on the ground with Esmonds voice in his head, cursing his soul to burn in the depths of hell.
'SON OF A BITCH! I WILL FUCKING KILL YOU!'
