ANNA
What or who stood before I was no man. The gods himself made him. I was drooling as my body shook with pure lust. This man wasn't just hot. He was a Greek god. He was gorgeous beyond words. "Who are you?" I stood my ground as the stranger looked like he was ready to attack at any moment. "He's a friend Anna, no need to worry" I turned to Jaimie, concerned. "I've never met him. Why is here at this time of the night? Are you in trouble?" I was worried for my friend. I turned to the man as he growled, giving him my hardest glare, daring him to say something. "No, it's okay" Jaimie looked defeated.
Slumping my shoulders, I turned to go for a bath, astounded that the man could throw his authority around like it was his house. Alas, nothing from the night had ended well, from the old man at the club to feel like someone was watching me to having someone just right outside my door. When was it going to end? I was beginning to feel exhausted as the days go by. The constant fighting, being on guard was exhausting. I was tired physically and mentally. I'm dead set over it. I want it to end. But when was it going to end? Did I have to take my own life to be happy? To stop the haunting every night, the sleepless nights that never end, the fear ebbed deep inside me. Trying to sleep was proving to be difficult. The anxiety of the day finally rolling off me in waves.
It didn't matter where I moved to what I changed about myself or what I did. I knew deep down he was going to find me. But tonight, that man wasn't him, and whoever he was, he made everything that much worse tonight. I could still hear the evil sneer now. Either he sent that man to find me or someone else out to get me now too. But who? My skin grew tight and frigid as I contemplated who was after me. As if my life wasn't stressful enough as it.
Unfortunately, it did not last pleasant for long. My body and eyelids were becoming heavy, and sleep was finally claiming me. Instead of having nightmares plaguing me, a handsome greek God stole my dreams away.
Waking up with a start, I could feel my bed was soaked in sweat again. Every night I was riddled with the same nightmare over and over again. No, what I could never erase. I went to move but couldn't. It was like a ton of bricks were sitting on top of me. My arms and legs were glued to the bed. I looked around, waiting for someone to walk out of the dark, but nothing came. I tried my hardest, but nothing would work. I couldn't move my body in any way. The only thing I could do was swivel my head from side to side.
My breathing was getting harder by the second as the panic and dread began to set in. "Jaimie" My voice was hoarse and scratched to the shit house, making it difficult to talk. Trying to calm me down as much as I could, taking deep breaths.
Jaimie!! HELP PLEASE!!" I was desperate now; my body was beginning to slowly burn up like a fire was started. Burning the inside of me in and out.
I couldn't breathe. Something was happening, and I had no control over myself. The tears began to fall down my face. The fire crept hotter and hotter, as my screams were not heard. Throat burning like I drank gasoline to ignite it all. Keeping my eyes open was getting harder by the minute. Everything was fading in and out. My whole body was throbbing with the pain. My ribs felt broken, like the air was evaporating, making it difficult to breathe. I couldn't work out if this were an anxiety attack or not. I've never had one like this before. I sure knew I wanted it to stop now.
I turned to the doorway as it banged open. It felt like hours like no one could hear but, there they stood Jamie and his friend with him standing beside him. "I…I CAN'T MOVE!!" I sobbed, trying to move to waste my efforts once again. "It burns, my whole body is on fire, please help me!! I don't know what's happening to me" I was a mess.
The strange man was quick to jump straight into the action. I was in so much pain I couldn't talk properly. My words made no sense. My speech was incoherent and mumbled like a baby wanting its feed and over waiting. I was getting frustrated not being able to explain myself through all the pain. I was rendered completely and utterly useless. I wanted it to stop.
Soon as he began to touch me, the pain had slightly eased a little to where I could take a breath. It was still unbearable, but at least I could breathe a little better. I turned to face to find he was on his knees, huffing and puffing like he was in the same amount of pain as I was. Seeing him affected made me all the more terrified for the situation I had no clue how to control.
I searched the room looking for Jaimie and did not find him. Where was he? Why did he leave me alone with this man when I don't even know who he was? I wanted Jaimie; I did not trust him at all. I was beginning to hyperventilate again. Frantically searching for Jaimie, waiting for him to come back into the room. I didn't like this, none of it, in fact. What was happening was not normal at all. Jaimie comes running back into the room. I couldn't hear a single thing he said. I tried to talk to get his attention, but he couldn't understand a single thing I was saying. The man picked me up, carrying me god knows where. I tried to reach for Jaimie but ended limply in the man's arms. My vision beginning to blur, slowly turning into darkness, letting it take over me.
