For the first time my father didn't make a fuss and, as soon as I told him that Ethan would be accompanying me, he just shrugged and mumbled a convinced 'okay'.
Unfortunately that asshole has entered to his head, probably while I was waiting for him in the car after lunch, but I don't understand how my father can trust someone like him.
He is not a good man, either.
I lower the beanie to the height of the eyebrows, while Meredith has already flown out of the car, taking advantage of the fact that it is snowing to jump like a child.
I roll my eyes and try to avoid my friend, spreading cream on my cheeks already blushed because of the cold, and then lift the scarf over my face to cover my mouth and the tip of my nose, leaving only my eyes visible.
As soon as my eyes land on Ethan's car a couple of meters away, I have confirmation that I have arrived to the right place, even though I didn't know if the address was right.
I squeeze into the heaviest jacket I've ever worn in my life, then slam the door behind me, stroking my car to apologize, not only for the journey, but also for the cold this car will be forced to endure this week.
I hasten to drag my gigantic suitcase out of the luggage of the car, even if the vacation will last less than few days.
