I approach the fireplace almost hypnotized, taking my eyes everywhere amazed: I have always loved modern design, but this house is so welcoming that every single detail makes me feel comfortable.
«Have you arrived?» - I notice Ian's presence behind me only when he leaves a friendly kiss on my cheek, before I decide to sit in the comfortable armchair in front of the warmth of the fireplace.
"I love this house." - I can't help myself, almost eager to wander around the rooms to see how they look, while Ian smiles at my words, glancing at me quickly before disappearing behind a door, that I understand is the kitchen when he returns with five glasses and a bottle of red wine in hand.
"It was a gift given to Ethan by his parents." - he nods at his words, making me understand that his family is richer than I would have thought.
I nod to his questions and hold back the urge to ask him more questions: I don't want to use Ian to know more about Ethan and his past, as he never talks about it, although I would be tempted to do that after his weird attitude of a couple of days ago.
