In a space of pure whiteness, the giant blocky title and a certain rose emblem drop from the sky to the ground, where the four miniaturized members of Team RWBY pop out from behind it to smile, wave and adopt poses for the audience while an unseen speaker announces the show as: 'RWBY CHIBI'!
Beacon...
Zwei, Ruby Rose, Jared Shay, and Clara Oswald are walking down the hallways in the Beacon Academy dormitory.
"Come on Zwei, hurry up or we'll be late for the pet party!" Ruby said, excitedly.
"The pet parties are nice." Jared said, holding Clara's hand.
"They are." Clara said, smiling.
Ruby jumps into the air smiling with her hands held out above her head. Nora Valkyrie emerges from one of the rooms and begins to follow Ruby, Zwei, Jared, and Clara.
"Pet party? What's that?" Nora asked.
"Wink." Ruby said, tilting her head to the side and averts her gaze. "It's a yearly party where Zwei can check up." She winks again "...on all his pet friends. And he can get a shot..." The silver eyed girl is winking again while leaning toward Nora and pointing dramatically at her closed eye. "...of fun while he's there."
"Wow!" Nora said, jumping into the air, mimicking Ruby's earlier pose. "Pet parties sound awesome! Ooh! Can I come? Can I? Pllleeeaaassseee?"
Ruby grabs Nora by the fingertips and drags her slightly closer so she is standing behind Zwei.
"No, look, we can't say where we're really taking him or Zwei will freak out and run away. And it takes forever to get him back." Ruby said.
"Last time we took him to that place, it took an entire army of Magical Girls to catch him." Clara said, her hand on her hip.
"It took us nearly a whole day to get Zwei back to us." Jared said, squeezing Clara's hand. "Once Homura used her time stop power, we managed to scoop up Zwei again when all else failed."
Ruby grabs Nora's face and shakes her head slightly as she speaks.
"Whyyyy, it's not like the three of you are taking him to the vet." Nora said, while her final words echo as Zwei adopts a look of horror.
One of Zwei's eyes twitches as the hallway begins to flicker and a high pitched noise is heard. The image glitches out and distorts before Zwei disappears accompanied by the sound of something breaking as he flees into the closest room, leaving a hole in the door.
Jaune can be heard from inside the room as more crashing and breaking sounds arise, "Zwei, wait, look out for that."
A black and white blur passes the hole in the door occasionally, as increasingly strange noises come from inside the room.
"Oh my gosh, wait, put that down!" Jaune said, while police sirens and an explosion are heard. "Ah! This is insanity! Seriously, I couldn't even..."
"Nora..." Jared said, letting out a sigh.
"Should I call the Puella Magi Holy Quintet again?" Clara asked, taking out her iPhone 5.
"Yeah..."
"So...what time should I come to the pet party?" Nora asked.
Ruby and Jared facepalm while Clara taps her foot out of annoyance. The sounds in the room die down, allowing Jaune's voice to be heard again.
"How does a dog even do these things without opposable thumbs?!" Jaune exclaimed.
Lounge...
Yang Xiao Long and Ruby Rose are sitting around in a room with a coffee table. Yang is watching Team RWBY's fight against the giant Nevermore from 'Players and Pieces' on her Scroll with Jared while Ruby is reading a comic book.
"Ruby, I still can't believe you 1v1d a Nevermore." Jared said, looking at the fight. "During your first day of school here."
"Tell me about it. That was ages ago." Ruby said.
"At least you know about it and all. With you being part of our family." Yang said, smirking.
Ruby and Yang's father, Taiyang Xiao Long leans into the room, smiling. He steps in to reveal he is wearing a bright, multicolored shirt.
"Eh?" Taiyang asked, thrusting out his chest and holds his arms out to the sides, trying to draw attention to his shirt. "Euh?"
Taiyang rests his fists on his side and stares at his daughters and their best friend. He coughs when Yang and Jared roll their eyes.
"It's a Tai-dye shirt! We get it, Dad!" Ruby said, gesturing dramatically as she speaks, before returning to reading her comic.
"Really? That's the best you've got. I wasn't dye-ing to hear it." Jared said, scoffing.
"Hmph, you three don't appreciate comedy." Taiyang said, crossing his arms and turns away from them with his eyes closed.
Mikazuki Villa...
"How have you been doing lately?" Iroha asked, looking at Jared.
Jared is busy eating takeout from Banbanzai which he is enjoying massively.
"Besides going through a Christmas miracle and well..." Jared said, sadly.
"What's wrong?" Sana asked, walking up to the ally of justice.
"It's the fact that I know that he is still alive."
"Who?" Tsuruno asked.
"You know who." Jared said, rolling his eyes.
"Are you talking about Sherlock Holmes?" Yachiyo asked.
"He's dead! And he's not coming back!" Felicia said, angrily.
"That is true..." Jared said, letting out a sigh.
Lounge...
Lie Ren, Neptune Vasilias, and Sun Wukong stand in a line, wearing shiny versions of their normal clothes and sporting frosted tips in their hair. The pink lock of Ren's hair has been partially dyed green.
"Alright, if the girls are gonna have a band, then we should too." Neptune said.
As he speaks, Sun and Neptune both pose.
"Yeah!" Sun said.
"Why did I agree to this?" Ren asked, hanging his arms and head in shame.
"Because you love the sacred art known as dance." Neptune said, placing his hand on Ren's shoulder reassuringly.
"With all my heart." Ren said, placing a hand on his chest.
Jaune walks up to Ren, Neptune, and Sun wearing white face paint with black diamonds around his eyes.
"What up my juggledudes?" Jaune asked.
"What are you doing?" Sun asked.
"What, this? Oh, Neptune said to dress up as cool as I could." Jaune asked, crouching down and forms the I Love You sign from American Sign Language with both hands, presumably mistaking it for the devil horns rock gesture.
"Yeah? So what are you doing?" Sun asked.
"Wha...this is totally cool. Like that classic rock band, Smooch! Or, for the younger generation; the Lunatic Jester Brigade. If you, like, terrible music." Jaune said.
"Ugh, alright, this is getting too weird for me. I'm out." Ren said, preparing to run away, only to be stopped by Neptune grabbing his foot.
"Ren! Please don't go! Everyone knows you're the best at dancing in the whole school and if you don't choreograph the best dance then we'll never win the battle of the bands and be the coolest kids in the school!" Neptune said, worried.
"Wow...you've really got a lot riding on this, huh?"
"Look, I'll talk to him, just don't leave okay?" Neptune asked, picking up Ren, who stands perfectly still and looks startled, and sets him closer to Sun. He walks up to Jaune and puts his left hand on his face. "Jaune, about the makeup." He is suddenly concerned. "Is this, uh- latex-based?"
"Yeah. Why?" Jaune asked.
"I uh, might be allergic." Neptune said.
"How badly? Can you still dance?"
Neptune's right hand swells, becoming red accompanied by the sound of a balloon inflating. He stares, mortified.
"By nightfall I won't be able to move." Neptune said.
"Is there anything we can do?" Ren asked.
Neptune's head doubles its normal size and the rest of his body turns red and swollen.
"Remember me, as I was."
