"That was how I met Her, as for maintaining our contact, I swear to the Ancient Humans, the last time I went back to the district inside the wall was before You scolded me non-stop for trying to use my newly

to camouflage my way in against the the Amoksa troops manning Brahu main gate on the northern wall section. since then, I dared not to disobey You, Rani was the one who came out of Terraria City state to our Se-Panjang slum as for her reason... I do not want to speculate."
Mada adding this fact incase old man Wirya accused him for being the one looking for trouble. well technically, He was that short of child who seemed to attract trouble wherever He went, but in the case where Rani was involved , She did a better Job on that.
Mada found The old man's way of speaking towards Him seemed no different from him being interrogated.
He felt a bit wronged inside, to convey His fulmination, He had scowled back to the old man from the ground where He was sitting on layers of cartons.
"then, My Lady, would You mind to tell this vassal for What purpose You stepped out side of the wall on the day You met Mada ? and why the two of You barged to my house, in a state like You were just being pursued by The grim reaper ?...
don't tell me....did something terrible happen to My Lord ?!"
from suspicion to worry, the old man tone changed incessantly without any juncture.
Wirya just attempted to guess This girl's, His lord's daughter motive, for coming out outside of the wall safety and endangering herself in this unforgiving and dangerous frozen World.
"it will be a long storytelling, uncle, first thing first, may I take off this thick coat of mine ? It sorely feels hot to still wearing this in here."
she did not need her uncle's consent to do such thing so she immediately took off her heavy, non-hoodie blue coat that covered her growing body from neck to toe.
putting it on her laps, and began her side of story right away.
****************
Year 547 AJ.
it was just another normal, full Year of snowrain and snowstorm in this ruined World.
Ice age had taken place long before any of the remaining Humans that still lived onto this day, the decendants of Ancient Humans ,were born.
there were exceptions for some places that still had direct ties to their ancestors, They could control the ever violent weather by using artifacts.
in which They had inherited the advanced technology and legacies of the previous civilization. those were people who carried on the residual civilized world which had been buried deep under a planet worth of ash and ice.
legends passed down among the children of aristocracy always told how many and how great of accomplishments their deities, Ancient Humans , had achived during six hundred thousands years of their existence.
from being a mere non-sapient, extinct animal known by the name of monkey, into building a civilization containing the brightest knowledges, engineering, and sophisticated culture. whose glory could still be traced and found in the ruins that bulged out from the ground here and there.
They were able to erect towers, statues, or buildings that could scrape the unreachable high heaven, many accounts even stated that They could even fly beyond the heaven and came to the celestial realm where the moon, the sun and billions of starts resided.
no matter who They were, aristocrats or commoners, listening to these great and superb fairytales and myths about their supposed ancestor's achievements, was definitely mesmerizing and fascinating, making one's heart beat faster, They couldn't help but felt enthralled and amazed.
The eight years old Rani, was one of such venerator, She venerated her ancestors so much just like the other children of noble birth sitting around her. They listened attentively towards an an adventurer archeologist that had been specifically hired to teach about the tale of the buried old World.
Their teacher had been working as an adventurer in her early days, She told Rani and her classmates pertaining What she had encountered during her four years of venturing out in the freezing realm, far away from the outermost boundary of nearest Human area outside Terraria City state.
the slum and refugees residencial district was one of such border. separating two regions, one with many things, another with nothing, only Icy plain and snow rain as far as one could see.
"Miss Gita may I ask a question ?" rising one hand, the young and cheerful Rani put forth her curiosity.
"please do so Young Lady Maha, I shall give You answers to the best of my knowledge." Her voice was soothing, a voice which was normally possessed by a Young maiden, Low note, with perfectly adjusted volume, just enough for her twenty small students to hear her lecture clearly.
she had long blonde hair that reached to her waist, her bangs fell divided to each side of her porcelain face, her slit eyes contained dark-greyish color of ash. She was wearing a tight old jeans and tight long sleeved shirt, with her proportional body, her current attire laid bare her curve to these pre puber children.
if She was to wear a gown, one would definitely perceived Her as a noble maiden, truthfully, She was indeed a noble, but being a free willed girl She was, she choosed not follow aristocrats customs and tradition.
She refused to be Wed against her will, and escaped to wilderness, She could never count how many times her life almost fleeting away from her during that period. and when she eventually returned, She brought countless artifacts along, thus proudly bore the title of adventurer, a noble rank and title achieveable for commoner.
then She threw off her former status as a genuine aristocrat, She had put the corner stone for a revolution in the tradition of the aristocratic society of Terraria City state, by showing that women are strong enough to fend for themselves, just like how the Ancient Humans females had accomplished in the past.
but shockingly, after all she had gone through, the air around her was still of an elegant Lady. a contrast if compared to the eight years old Rani, whom perceived by her classmates, even for those having hooligan character, as a deadly beauty.
Rani didn't have an alluring quality an adult woman had yet , but, even adult men would find her charming. the reason She never had been bullied or rarely harrased by the males was, those who had sharp sense, would blatantly try to ignore her.
the way She walked, the katana-shaped artifact on her back, and her keen eyes, even fools with relatively moderate intelligence would immediately understand, only a full fledged Evolver or a humanoid-class Mutant could possibly have a chance to subdue this little girl.
Yes, She was already that strong before going through her Mutation process. cutthroat princess, that's how the nobles, old and young, called her behind her back.
Rani put forth her question after getting her teacher permission.
"how could beings with the deepest knowledges, brightest wisdom, and highest Intelligence, destroyed themselves in a apocalyptic civil war ?"
to be continued.
