There was once a boy that was hated by his family...
The reason was unknown but it was sure that his parents didn't want to keep him.
A day after his birth his parents abandoned him in the forest for him to die.
But then a pack of wolves found him and brought him back to their home. Hours past after they found him the pack was still arguing if they will keep the boy or not...
After a few hours of arguing the pack leader Shekal who saved him decided to keep the boy.
After adopting the boy Shekal decided to name the boy Denimi it was the name that was supposed to be given to his son. About two months have passed and Denimi has started to walk on two feet He also learned his first words Shekal and Dad. Years passed and Denimi didn't contribute to the pack at all so they decided to include Denimi to hunt with the pack.
Shekal was hesitant to lend them Denimi because his partner who was bearing his child also died on a hunt. But Shekal couldn't refuse because if Denimi couldn't prove his worth the clan will kick him out no matter what.
Shekal asked for a delay on the hunt, the clan agreed but only delayed the hunt for a month. After he heard this he went straight to Denimi and told him they were gonna train everyday from now on.
Denimi asked Shekal why but he refused Denimi who was raised to always listen to Shekal's commands accepted the answer without hesitation.
The first days of the training was rough but Denimi powered through it. With Denimi's human intelligence he was able to learn all the strategies and skills fast, the hard part was the physical training, Denimi who was spoiled his whole childhood has never had physical interaction. Shekal made him avoid the other wolf cubs because he knew that he would get injured if he did. The start was rough but after two weeks Denimi was already comfortable with the training, it had become daily routine for him.
After all this Denimi was strong enough to handle a wolf, it was now one week before the hunt although Shekal was worried but he knew that he was at least more more capable than most wolves. For this weak Shekal decided that this weak he would heighten Denimi's training. Denimi didn't notice the change in difficulty at first but after a few more training sessions he realized then asked Shekal why it was getting harder and all he said was that he wasn't ready.
It is now one day before the hunt, Shekal challenged Denimi to a duel. Denimi accepted.
The duel started they were 10 feet away from each other.
Shekal had the speed advantage but he knew Denimi likely had more strength after that whole month of hard practice. He knew that Denimi had faster pace growth compared to all the others.
Shekal shouted "LET THE DUEL START! "
Denimi who was shocked by the shout was stunned for a second but regained his senses in a second.
Shekal was surprised most humans would be stunned for a few minutes at least, but he expected this because another wolf did the same too him but at that time he didn't even flinch. Shekal intervened but he knew that if the fight went on Denimi would surely win.
Shekal struck first with a tackle.
Denimi who was still recovering from the stun didn't dodge, but even after that he didn't fall down.
After recovering his ground Denimi instantly struck back with a hook.
Of course Shekal dodged it but only just barely.
Shekal got back in position and struck back but this time with a claw attack.
Denimi dodged it by a hair and took advantage of the moment to hit Shekal in the side.
Shekal who was not expecting this was not able to safely land.
Shekal on the ground back side down was than trapped in a lock.
Not being able to attack back he surrendered.
Shekal being impressed didn't need to worry about Denimi going on the hunt anymore. Then the next day Denimi went on the hunt.
