Chapter 1 - Just Another Day (Edited)

His personality was somewhat all over the place in this chapter so I decided to fix it a bit.

————————————————

"You sure you don't want to come to the party?" Asks my best friend Davis.

Davis Right, a 6ft tall athletic hunk of meat. With dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and a face that could make men blush you wouldn't be surprised if he was a supermodel. If I was gay I would definitely have a crush on him, and I'm not gay.

...

WHAT? I'M NOT GAY!!

"God, you're beautiful." I say contrasting my last thought.

"Thanks, You're not too bad yourself." He says with a smirk.

A short silence permeates between us.

"HEY, DON'T CHANGE THE SUBJECT!" He screams.

"Damnit." I say under my breath.

He always liked to be praised so I thought I'd be able to divert his attention.

"Why do you never want to come to any parties? The last time I literally had to drag you out of your apartment." He asks.

"I just don't feel like it today. I don't know why but I feel like somethings gonna happen and I don't want to be at the party when shit hits the fan." I say.

He narrows his eyes.

"What type of "Feel"? Feel Feel, or I'm just making an excuse feel?" He asks.

"A bit of both? I don't know. It's not dreadful like the "Feels" I had before but something is definitely going to happen." I say.

He sighs in relief.

"Good, it isn't one of your freaky instinctual premonitions." He says.

"You sure you don't have any superpowers? Cuz you've saved us from more unforeseen accidents than I can count." He asks jokingly.

"Listen I've said it multiple times already. I'm.... 60- 65% sure I don't have any superpowers." I reply jokingly.

"Alright you don't have to go but I'll make you do twice as much of the workout on Sunday." He says.

"What?" I mutter out in question.

He gets up from his seat grabs his bags and starts to leave.

"Ignoring your friends isn't nice!" I exclaim.

"See you on Sunday." He says as he nears the classroom door.

"I. Hate. You." I say gravely.

"Love you too." He says as he leaves my field of vision.

I sigh.

Looking blankly at the window I start to get bored.

'I get bored way too easily.'

Minutes pass and I see my best friend walking out of the building towards the bus stop where a bus is coming perfectly on time.

'Lucky bastard.'

He looks up at the window I'm at and waves at me then enters the bus.

I sigh again.

'Something is going to happen and it may very well change life as I know it.'

I always hated my "Feelings" because they always put me on edge. Every time without fail something happens when I have these"Feelings". They're vague but living with it for 15 years made it easier to differentiate the "Feelings". There are the "Feelings" where I knew something really bad was going to happen, there are "Feelings" where something not that bad but very annoying will happen, and there are feelings like now where I'm not sure what's gonna happen but I know it is going to change my life or just life as we know it and I've only had this feeling once before when my family hit it off with a business deal, making us millionaires.

They said they were patient and got a random lucky chance.

I was always taught that patience was a virtue and I take that saying to heart. That's how my family got rich and that's how I get top grades at school.

But with patience comes boredom. I feel like I have something missing that I could be doing. Something that I should have always had but never got.

I sigh once more.

As I finally get up from my seat getting ready to leave school I see droplets of water falling on the window.

"Fuck." I mutter under my breath.

'I say it once again lucky bastard.'

After I grab my pure black book bag I look out the window once more.

A teen with ebony dark black hair, a good complexion, and a forever bored expression stares back.

'Black and purple.'

My favorite colors and the colors of my eyes. Right black and left deep purple. I've been into genetics a bit and the fact that in our world there are people with eyes and hair colors like red, orange, green, white, and more and no one questions it is beyond my understanding. Human genetics shouldn't be able to naturally be able to produce those colors and yet we do, and because animals have colors all over the spectrum they just say we haven't found out what genetics do it yet.

'A load of bull they just don't want to say that they don't know.'

I look away from the window and start to walk out of the classroom passing my homeroom teacher that came in to check the room. We don't say anything because we commonly see each other.

As I start to walk down the hallway I feel a lecherous gaze upon me but I don't look back because I already know who it is.

My homeroom teacher is a tall beauty. 6.2 beautiful face curvey body with d cup breast and a full ass, black hair tied into a ponytail and brown eyes, in her early 30s and could probably pull a lot of men but she had her eyes set on me since the start of the second year of high school 2 months ago.

'Pedophileic bitch.'

Ignoring the pedophile I walk until I'm finally out of school.

Seeing the heavy rain I sigh at my unluckiness.

"Welp, no use crying over spilled milk." I say.

I put my bag over my head and start walking towards the bus stop.

Once I get there I check my phone to see when the bus will come.

"7 minutes." I read aloud.

I sigh again for the umpteenth time.

I put my phone back in my pocket stare blankly until the bus pulls up.

Surprisingly the bus is pretty empty.

"Thanks for the ride." I say to the driver after I pay.

"No problem." He says with a smile.

I go to the nearest seat and sit down.

Looking around the bus I see an elderly woman sleeping, a middle-aged man on his phone all the way in the back, and someone next to him in full black staring at me.

'It's been a while hasn't it mister stalker.'

I don't know their gender or age but they've been stalking me for about a year now. I can't go to the police because I don't have any proof and the fact that we frequently cross passes can just be a coincidence but I know they're a stalker I can "Feel" it. They haven't done anything bad yet so I don't confront them but I don't appreciate it.

I ignore them and put my head down spacing out until it's time for me to get off.

I get up from my seat and walk to the exit.

"Thanks for the ride." I say once again.

"No problem." He says again.

I walk out of the bus locking eyes with my stalker for a moment.

I walk up the block to my house.

It's small. Only big enough for 2 people to live in perfect for someone like me who lived by himself.

I've always been mature so when I suggested living by myself to go to the high school Davis was going to my family didn't have any objections.

Though they do visit me once a month to see how I'm doing and give me 300 dollars for food and other necessities.

They didn't like that I got a small house but I convinced them that I didn't need a mansion.

I unlock the door and walk into the house seeing a long hallway, taking off my shoes and putting my book bag on the floor next to the door so that I don't get the floors wet while I'm walking by I start to walk further into the house passing the kitchen to my right and living room to my left. At the end of the hallway to the left and right are 2 identical rooms.

I walk in the left door to see a pretty empty room. Besides a bed a lamp and a desk with a computer there's pretty much nothing.

I walk to the side of my bed and pull out the bed drawer to see all of my clothes.

I take a simple white t-shirt, underwear, and black shorts and close the drawer.

I walk out of my room and got to the living room then to the bathroom which is in the living room.

I take off my clothes put them in the hamper and hop in the shower.

As I'm in the shower suddenly everything stops.

The running water isn't running it's just staying there.

"What the hell..." I say.

[So little time to do things in your life but what would you do if time wasn't a problem anymore? Hello there rightful heir of time and welcome to the world of magic.] Says an ethereal voice.

"What the fuck..." I say completely confused.
