Chapter 23 - Katt's Past

Been holding this off for as long as I can, but I think it's time i explain Katt's story, fully. Along with everyone. Sorry for not writing about this sooner. Katt is the first one to go since I am close to her.

Katt belongs to the Uncommon bloodline of werewolves, they hold no family name but their own and are normal the lowest rank when in packs that are not like Johns. Katt was born here, she is the twin sister to Julian. Katt always told me stories of how she and Julian would fight and play and such, and that Julian would always be the one who loses most of the time. Around the age of 17, mind you werewolves age differently so they may be 17 in human years, yet they are far older than us by that age, anyways by the age of 17 she ran away from home with a man that she thought would be her one true love. A man so corrupt and evil she would be blindsighted of the crimes he did.

I remember hearing about her during my start with the Hunters, however I was only young in the ranks so it was not my case to handle. The reason the Hunters got involved was mainly of two reasons. One being the fact the man in question was already on our radar, and for the fact that we got a special order, a order that only comes rarely. It was an order from her mother to bring her home. Hunters eventually had to give up on the case for the fact we kept losing men so that was that. Katt's time with the man, Avery Rosland, was a terrible time according to her. Apparently she wasn't in control of her actions at time and such. To be honest I believe it, and so did many others in the Hunters. This wasn't the first time Rosland was accused of doing stuff like what he did Katt. The torture, the manipulation, the rape, the everything. It's brutal to hear about it or even know it happened to Katt. She still has some scars but has gotten over it with time. Mainly due to meeting Dylan when she came back home holding a child, the child being Vix.

Katt's return home wasn't pleasant according to John. The way she acted earlier was the way she came home, holding Vix in her arms, crying in the rain behind a sleazy motel in town. The mother was the one to find her after hearing and sensing a family member close by. John still recalls the event as "The best worst thing I've seen. Happy for my daughter returned home....worried, angered, and scared for how she turned out." Katt in this stage again is going to be hard, harder maybe now that he's in town. Vix has no knowledge that her father is that man and was only told that her daddy is Dylan, and that's a damn good choice too. It shall be kept that way.
