Well it's been two whole years since the day we stumbled upon the pack which our mate..., um I mean Kat's mate is the beta of.
Things are going smoothly, even I also decided to make myself useful, I learned in the pack hospital every day and now I'm a pack Doctor.
My sister was also getting along well with our.., again a mistake, I meant her mate.
It was late in the evening when the gamma mind linked me that kat is in labour!.
let me explain:
It was an August afternoon when the beta rushed in with Kat in his arms.
I got scared and thought of the worst,but then,he said she fainted, I glared at him but was relieved.
Aparrently Kat had been feeling tired the past month and he had begged her to go for a check up but she refused saying she has to help the Luna as the beta female
Kat was laid on a bed in one of the rooms in the hospital as I worked on her checking her pulse, running some tests and finally discovered she was 2 months pregnant.
I smiled happily and broke the news to the beta, the beta was happy and decided to break the news to her himself.
Kat had already woken up about five minutes after the discovery, and I assured her that everything was going well.
Hiding behind a sofa as the others did the same hiding somewhere comfortable.
The beta had decided to break the news to her in a romantic way and asked for help from pack members to decorate his sitting room.
The sitting room was decorated beautifully and some words written on cardboards were pasted to the wall.
words like
"YOU ARE A MOTHER!!". "CONGRATULATIONS ON JOINING MOTHERHOOD"
" AWAITING THE BIRTH OF A BABY IN SEVEN MONTH"
The sounds of footsteps brought me at alert, slowly the door opened and kat entered, I reached for the switch and put on the light as everyone shouted ''CONGRATULATIONS".
Kat smiled widely as her eyes roamed the words on the cardboards.
Her eyes became teary as she turned to her mate who already positioned himself behind her.
They stared at each other with so many emotions as my heart tugged painfully, I smiled sadly but no matter how painful it is, I still was so happy for my twins sister
She deserved that and more.
The next week, they both came into my office for an ultrasound, I helped kat lay on the table as I rubbed a cold gel on her stomach and began the scan.
It was a girl, I was confused, that has never happened in our family, if your baby is a girl then it has to be twins, it's a curse that's been in our family for twelve generations now.
You are confused that I think of it as a curse but you will understand soon... but nonetheless I'm happy the baby won't experience my pain.

"Kat is in labour'' the gamma screamed into the mind link.
I winced as I clutched my ears, ';that mother fucker'' I mumbled rushing to the pack hospital where kat is already laid out on a bed.
"Push, yes, just a little bit more '' and finally a baby girl came out.
it was hard getting kat to push, she had outrightly refused, She said and I quote.
''My mate has to be here first before anything,it's what we planned. he has to be here for me'' unfortunately the beta accompanied the alpha to a meeting about 10 hours drive from here.
I had a hard time convincing her, begging Almost shedding tears just to change her mind and surprisingly she did but on one condition;
She wants just I and the gamma in the labour room.
After shouting and groaning for some minutes, a baby girl came out.
I handed her to the gamma who looks traumatized for life.
I cut the umbilical chord and was about to wrap thing up but stopped, I placed my hands on her abdomen and rubbed it in circular motion just to be sure there are no baby in her womb.
I blinked in shock as my heart raced a mile in a second, I removed my hands and placed it over her tummy and rubbed again.
But this time I masked my shock as I felt the movement under my palm again.
My brain quickly worked out a plan as I turned to the gamma and smiled sweetly at him.
''im sorry but can you please get me the moodhu device, it is in my room and it's name is boldly written on it''.
"he nodded in relief '', walled to the crib and laid the baby inside before rushing out of the labour room''.
I would have chuckled at his cute behavior had this not be a dire situation.
I turned to kat and told her to push again, her eyes widen in surprise and and she nodded and started groaning again before another baby popped out at the same time kat eyes dropped and she fell into a deep slumber.
I went to my office and bought out a liquid that will make kat sleep for about 12hours.
I injected it into Kats arm, and took a towel and wrapped it around the baby and proceeded to jump out the window.
I was almost out of the window but something in me turned back placed the baby beside her mother and walked to the first baby girl, carried her gently doubled the towel expertly around her and took off out the window.
I ran escaping the patrol teams as I ran into the no man's land and continued running,it seems like I had been running for month scratch that years, but I know it's been only a few hours.
I stopped in front of a creepy hut, just how I remembered it, the hut looked as if it will fall off any moment, the very definition of abandoned but I knew better to know it's not abandoned instead a witch lived in there.
The witch who helped me cut all ties with my future mate.
I sound delusional for breaking a very sacred bond but it's not my fault, it's the curse
it started a millennium ago, my many many many great grand parents have birth to a set of twin, two girls who loved each other so much but all changed when they found their mate.
But they both had the same mate they both hated the idea of sharing a mate and on the long run they both got in a fight and one killed the other.
To cut the story short history kept repeating itself till it got to my my mom, well she came killed the sister that she loved so much over their mate, my father.
She became miserable and couldn't take it anymore,and when we, I mean katrina and I were both six years, she came to our room at night thinking, we were asleep though kat was probably in Dreamland already I was not.
Thought tears she narrated the story and that's how I got to know the next day my mom's dead body was found, she committed suicide.
And to prevent that from happening, I looked for solutions and stumbled upon Mara who broke all ties with my mate.
The baby started crying as my heart raced faster bringing me out of my thoughts.
I cooed at the baby at the same time making my way into the hut.
''Mara'' I called out in panic and she appeared before me, I shivered in fear as her red and dark cloak made her look like a ghost.
I forgot my fear for a second and quickly fed her the details.
I was in a hurry and If she saw it she didn't comment on it.
My world almost came crashing down when I heard her say there's no other way to save the baby than to rip her wolf away from her.
That way she won't be able to connect to her mate, I had no other choice lose her wolf or lose them both. I told her to go on.
After a few minute of mixing cooking mixing again and cooking again, she finally finished the potion and the baby was bathe with it.
Before I left she gave me a potion, a whitish blue substance and told me to inject it in my sister to make her forget what happened the previous night.
She also warned me not to let the child back home or near any werewolf community, or else her wolf will come back as the spirit of other werewolves will force her wolf back.
So I ran in wolf form to the nearby human community and dropped her in front of a cabin and rang the bell then ran like never before.
It was after fifteen hours when I got to pack lands. I walked quickly to the room where kat was but was stopped on the way in by the alpha.
I quickly calmed my racing heart and put in my most innocent face, ''oh Alpha, you're here, I had to get this substance to help my sister, it's been passed down generations after generations and if this is not injected into the female that's just been put to bed , then she would sleep forever''
He narrowed his eyes as I kept my pretend face on '' you went outside the pack''
he bellowed.
I cringed at that, '' I couldn't find the ingredients here so I wandered off pack lands, I'm sorry alpha''
I whispered meaning it so much
sorry for what I've done.
He signed and walked away
I walked in and closed the door behind me.
Thankfully she is still asleep, I quickly prepared the injection, I injected it into her arm shakily.
Her eyes flew open, I sucked in a breath as I removed the needle which still remains about half of the injection
I smiled at her just as the door flew open, The beta walked in with the baby girl. and quickly as I came in and made my way outside but unfortunately I haven't opened the door when I heard kat ask smiling excited ''Where is the other twin?''
I turned the same time the confused beta said ''who?,it a baby girl''
Kat turned to me staring right into my soul '' They are two babies, right?"
I Chuckled nervously '' what are you on about kat, this is your baby, a baby girl''.
But she caught on to my lie, we were twins, we were together all our lives, she knows me even more than I know myself.
''Where is my baby'' she shouted as She flew at me, I was caught off guard as I fell and she fell on me, the needle which was previously in between my fingers were now lodged into my neck as the liquid flowed freely into my veins.
My eyes drooped as I slipped into unconsciousness, but before it all went dark I saw kat also slumped on the ground just like me our hands entwined together.
