With the sun rising from behind the mountains William arrived at the compound, having taken him a lot longer than normal.
During the trip, William went again through how he would get into the compound. He was nervous about his one chance going to waste so he kept repeating what he had to do over and over.
He would let the scanners see him during the day from the tree line, baiting out the guards by attacking the trucks that were entering the compound and small electronics he had access to as well as any antennas he could see.
He wanted to make the researchers believe that shadows moved in groups, or at least that they did not travel alone. That when one went missing another would come looking for them.
