Chapter 35 - Dream (1)

Kyn and Bertha exchanged looks, their thoughts aligning on an arrangement. Gaia's divine connection and understanding of the artefact could be the key to obtaining a meeting with Ra. When they first encountered Chris, the burglar who had accidentally set this entire chain of events in action, she had requested that Kyn and Bertha serve as her guardians.

With a mischievous glint in her eye, Bertha turned to Gaia and said, "Well, Gaia, it looks like you're our ticket to our meeting with Ra. You had the wonderful notion to have us become your guards in the first place. Time to wear some big boy shoes."

"Yeah, and Chris, our good-for-nothing thief, can vouch for us," Kyn chuckled. " You, after all, couldn't let an adventure pass you by, the reason we ended up working together with him, was for our dear princess."

Gaia's sister, Nyx, could not stop laughing at the scene. "This is priceless," she exclaimed, wiping tears from her eyes. "So, we are sending Gaia to bargain with Ra, who, by the way, has a crush on her, Well, it is his alter ego Amun-Ra. But I can not wait to see his expression when he sees Kyn."

With the plan in place, the gang left Kyn's room and went to their own quarters to prepare for the oncoming meeting. It was a situation filled with intrigue, humor, and cosmic complexity, and they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in their quest to restore balance and harmony to this extraordinary world.

Kyn took a minute to simply gaze upon the ebony-like gun, now titled "Ayin's Bane," as he gently placed it on his bedside. Apart from the adrenaline-fueled experience with the Scylla, it was the first time he had genuinely taken a moment to appreciate the intricate beauty of the weapon.

The handgun sparkled gently in the room's ambient light, its dark, almost supernatural aura attracting his attention. Its craftsmanship was flawless, with exquisite embellishments etched into the barrel that gave it a sense of both beauty and danger.

Kyn lightly ran his fingertips over the gun's surface, feeling the cool, smooth texture beneath his touch. He was astounded by how this once-ordinary pistol had evolved into something amazing, a weapon endowed with the essence of chaos itself.

Ayin's Bane had an otherworldly air to it, as if it were more than just a weapon. Its sunstone seemed to pulse with an inner light, giving an eerie, ethereal glow in the dimly lighted room. It was a sight to witness, and Kyn could not help but feel overwhelmed.

The pistol emanated confidence, as if it possessed the capacity to annihilate anything that stood in its way. Despite its enhanced might, it maintained its majesty and elegance. It was an instrument made by the chaos world itself, a symbol of Kyn's intriguing voyage.

As Kyn looked at Ayin's Bane, he could not help but wonder about the mysteries it held and what role it might play in the difficulties ahead. The allure of chaos had brought him to this point, and with each revelation, the chaos realm revealed its secrets one layer at a time.

As Kyn began to drift off to sleep, he suddenly found himself transferred to a dimension that was beyond his comprehension. In this peculiar and surreal dream, he found himself standing in the middle of a wide expanse of emptiness. It appeared as though the space around him consisted entirely of a pitch-black nothingness that went on seemingly forever.

In the midst of this terrible void, Kyn's physical appearance underwent a strange metamorphosis. He emanated a warm golden glow from every inch of his being, but it was not a single tone throughout its entirety. Instead, it changed through a range of shades of dark yellow, going from a brilliant gold to a yellow that was almost as dark as pitch black in appearance and dripping with colour.

The dream was a perplexing and surreal experience, with Kyn's own essence and existence becoming a mesmerizing display of colors within the otherwise impenetrable darkness. It made him feel a sense of amazement and intrigue, as if the dream contained some secret meaning or a message that had not yet been decoded.

The farther he drifted into the dream, the more he could not shake the impression that the chaotic realm was once again dragging him into its mysterious embrace. He could not shake the feeling that the chaos realm was speaking to him.

It was then, an indistinct figure appeared from within the chaos of the dream, cloaked in darkness that seemed to defy classification. It lacked a defined gender and stood out against the backdrop of obscurity as an enigmatic presence. The figure approached Kyn, stopping only fifteen feet away, its shape darker than the already dark surroundings.

The figure's presence was intimidating, and it simply stood there, its incomprehensible gaze locked on Kyn as if waiting for a question or interaction. Suddenly, the figure raised its arm, and a tremendous transformation occurred from nothingness.

Before Kyn's eyes, a magnificent ancient metal forge materialized, a place where weapons of mass crusades were forged in the medieval settings. The forge released immense heat and sparks that swirled through the air, creating a gloomy ambiance. Tools and weapons of highly skilled craftsmanship filled the workshop, hanging on the walls and scattered about, each a work of art in its own right.

The view in front of Kyn was evocative of a masterpiece painted in the chiaroscuro style, which was distinguished by the interplay of light and shadow and features aspects reminiscent of Baroque art. Kyn could not help but be attracted into this perplexing dreamscape, which was strange and awe-inspiring.

With the figure and the forge as his companions in this strange dream, Kyn had a sense of foreboding, as if he were on the verge of a significant revelation or encounter, but unsure how to proceed.

Feeling Kyn's Gaze the figure turned to him and said in a voice so deep yet metallic, "The Chaos Realm salutes you!" and with it came down the hammer in it's hand down to the anvil.

BOOM!!!
