Chapter 40 - Lucky princess

Kyn held the tiny snake, Mot, in his hands, a mixture of amusement and disbelief on his face. He couldn't help but be impressed by Nyx's brazenness in leaving such an unexpected and severe warning behind for him. As he gazed into the serene green eyes of Mot, he was unable to bear the thought of what might occur in the event that those eyes ever turned red.

Kyn grinned and said, "I guess we're in this together, Mot," adding, "but we're definitely going to keep those eyes as green as can be."

Kyn was prepared to face the challenges of the day with a newly acquired responsibility and an odd but lovable companion had joined the ranks. One of these challenges was ensuring that Mot had his preferred snacks so that he could maintain his composure throughout the day. He sure was going to have a day that was going shape up to be quite extraordinary, and he couldn't wait to find out what other surprises were in store for him, judging from his point of luck these days.

The luxurious breakfast area at the Hotel Cipriani was illuminated with a warm, golden glow as the sun rose in the morning. The spread that was placed in front of Kyn was nothing short of lavish, and it included a wide variety of mouthwatering treats. A variety of freshly baked pastries, delicate finger sandwiches, and an assortment of brightly coloured fruits were displayed on fine china plates. There was a carving station stocked with mouthwatering meats, and a chef was deftly preparing omelettes to order as customers placed their orders. The hotel's esteemed guests were treated to a truly refined dining experience at the hotel's complimentary morning meal.

Bertha and Chris had already enjoyed their breakfast and had headed off to the casino, leaving Kyn to wonder where Gaia was. It was a little bit after 8:30, and there was no sign of her anywhere. He had hoped to have a pleasant morning conversation with her, but it seemed she was running late.

Unbeknownst to Kyn, Mot, the tiny snake left in his care by Nyx, had taken full advantage of the luxurious breakfast. With its insatiable appetite for sweets and sugary treats, Mot had found a paradise of delights on the table. It slithered among the plates and, behaving like the glutton that it truly was, devoured pastries, chocolates, and anything else it could find.

As Kyn began to wonder if he should start eating without Gaia, he noticed his link vibrating on the table. Kyn couldn't help but stifle a chuckle at the irony of the timing as he thought to himself that she appeared to be in a bit of a fashion pickle.

While Kyn was watching the snake's antics with a bemused expression, he received a message on his link. Sure enough, it was from Gaia, and it simply read, "Wardrobe SOS." Kyn was amused. It seemed as though the goddess was having difficulty deciding what clothes to wear that morning, which would explain why she was running behind schedule. She was after all his damsel in distress, just as he was about to rise his link buzzes again, a new number but the profile is that of the blonde Gaia. As it turns out both Gaia's are having a wardrobe meltdown.

Amused by the simultaneous fashion crises faced by both the blonde and brunette versions of Gaia, Kyn decided to play the role of the gallant rescuer. He chuckled to himself at the comical situation unfolding and decided to go fetch the two Gaias from their respective rooms.

As Kyn approached the rooms of the two goddesses, after all they were back to back with a door that linked the two, he couldn't help but wonder how different their fashion tastes might be. After all, they were two distinct entities, and their choices of attire could vary widely. It was yet another intriguing aspect of their divine personalities. Especially given how they both carried themselves one who loved flamboyant colours and another that loved natures colours.

Kyn knocked on the door of the first Gaia's room, the brunette, and waited for a response. His mind was filled with curiosity about what fashion emergency he might find inside.

Kyn couldn't help but chuckle as Gaia stood before him, wrapped from head to toe in a towel, contemplating her wardrobe choices. He was quickly growing accustomed to her divinely inspired indecision.

Gaia wore two dresses, one a bold red number with a daring thigh-high slit and the other a short, laced summer dress with a more casual charm. She appeared to be torn between the two, her gaze darting between the dresses as she weighed her options.

Kyn leaned back in his chair, amused by the divine fashion show that was unfolding in front of him. "Well, both dresses are lovely, but it depends on the type of day you have planned. The red dress is striking and elegant, ideal for making a statement. The laced summer dress, on the other hand, has a more relaxed vibe that is appropriate for a day of relaxation."

"But, you know, sometimes it's fun to be daring," he added with a playful grin, looking down her cleft, she was the one in a towel, "Why not wear a red dress?"

"My eyes are up here."

"I know but I wouldn't mind taking a good look at them," he replied with a sheepish smile. Knowing his attention was hers for the reaping, Gaia considered his advice before nodding with a mischievous grin on her face. "Hmmm, you know? You are completely right. I'm feeling brave today."

Gaia transformed from a towel-clad goddess to a vision of elegance and confidence, donning the striking red gown, with a swift, divine flourish. It gracefully hugged her form, emphasising her beauty and charisma.

Kyn couldn't stop staring at her transformation. "You look absolutely stunning, Gaia," he said with a smile.

Her eyes twinkled as she smiled warmly. "Thank you very much, Now it's time sort out the other me", she said with a mischievous grin on her face. Walking towards the door that separated the two back to back rooms. Gaia twisted open the knob and waltzed into the room of currently her naked counterpart. And with that she undid her dress to showcasing her voluptous figure.
