Gaia and Kyn had been talking in the midst of lavish decor when they decided to take a break and clean up after their adventure. They each had their own room at the Hotel Cipriani, and each room was a paradise of comfort and elegance. The promise of a little break was a welcome breather in the midst of the dramatic events.
When Kyn stepped into his appointed room, he was met with an air of calm sophistication. The plush couches and low lighting set a mood perfect for unwinding. When he finally reached the bathroom, he saw a luxurious tub that seemed to call to him with the promise of relaxing foam.
Kyn eagerly filled the tub with hot water, ready to relax in its soothing embrace. A sigh of relief escaped his mouth as he relaxed in the tranquil setting.
While everything was going on, Gaia was planning a naughty prank in her own room. With a sly grin on her face, she checked her reflection to make sure her blonde double looked ready to go. She got into costume to look like the other Gaia and stood by the entrance, her heart racing in anticipation of the joke.
Gaia timed her approach to Kyn's door with precision, and with mischievous eagerness racing through her veins, she knocked softly. She wasn't trying to be rude or make anyone feel bad; she was just trying to share a laugh with her friend while they were on the road.
In a pretend-not-to-know tone, Gaia asked, "Kyn, are you in there? I need some help"
" Yes, I'm in but give me a minute I'm in the bathub," he continued enjoying himself not even noticing the entity that had just materialized right next to him. Her freckles and blonde hair being the only tale tell sign of their difference.
Thinking to herself, he does have a familiar scent to me, no wonder she came to me. Well at least now we can be sure it is him. "Hmm, I wonder how long till the water clears, or let me just do it, I'm not signing up until I see the goods. Seeing is believing"
Kyn, who was taking his time in the tub, opened one eye wide when he heard Gaia's voice right opposite to him and not on the front poach. The sudden appearance of her caught him off guard.
Kyn asked with shock, "Gaia!", standing up abruptly.
Oi, covering his privates, "How did you get in"
"It's my room, I should be the one asking you that question."
Kyn's heart pounded as he reacted, filled with a strange mix of perplexity and uncertainty. His mind was briefly a whirlwind of possibilities until the Brunette Gaia unexpectedly entered the room.
Gaia entered the room with an air of casualness befitting the prank she had just to pulled, her expression carefully made to mimic her blonde counterpart.
Our Cute counterfeit blonde Gaia defended herself, "Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt. I didn't realise you were staying here." she said looking at her other self.
Kyn's pulse was hammering as he frantically tried to cover himself with a towel, and his cheeks were flushed with a mixture of astonishment and slight shame.
Stuttering, Kyn asked, "Wait, what? Where are you sleeping? ....What I was thinking was..."
Gaia's laughter filled the room with its soothing blend of amusement and mild mischief.
(With a wry grin) "I'm just teasing, Kyn," said Gaia, the blonde," Relax in the tub and stop fretting about me. I like what I see, she choose well."
Kyn looking back and forth between the two Identical women," Not cool, Gaia, you pretty much not wanting to join your name into my good books"
Looking straight a him, "What if we join in."
Why do I feel like a piece premium steak, Kyn thought to himself, "No, one of you is already more than trouble. Now could you please allow me to get decent."
With a wry grin on her face, they both started walking away, happy that the joke had been played and glad that they could take some humour with them on their journey.
Both Turning back at him in the most ethereal yet scary over the fact it came out in unison, they both declared, " Don't worry, I will take responsibility."
Hearing Gaia's infectious grin, Kyn couldn't help but crack a grin himself, the chance meeting brightening their otherwise tranquil stay at the Hotel Cipriani. One day, I'm going to smack that butt of yours for being cheeky, he thought to himself and so did the reply, I'm looking forward.
The two Gaias laughed and joked with one another amid the aftershocks of a practical joke and the shock it had caused. Their ability to laugh together, despite their many differences, demonstrated the power of friendship and shared experience to overcome any obstacle.
After the prank, each Gaia went back to her own room, carrying with her a mixture of astonishment and expectation. Kyn had shown them a side of himself they hadn't seen before, both in his moments of vulnerability and in his reaction to the prank.
In retrospect, Gaia (the blonde) declares, "He's certainly... interesting."
With a grin, Gaia said, "Indeed. His sincerity is simultaneously captivating and intriguing."
There was a sense of mystery in the air as they all agreed that their time spent with Kyn had begun to reveal facets of his personality that promised richer bonds in the future.
Gaia, the blonde one, pondered aloud, "To think that two versions of me would feel this way about the same mortal... it's almost poetic, isn't it?"
Gaia agreed and said, "Destiny certainly has a way of weaving intricate patterns, doesn't it?" Maybe there's more about Kyn than meets the eye, and our paths crossing is more than just a coincidence."
The discourse was tinged with mystery and excitement as they discussed the mysterious ties that bound their fates to Kyn's. Both versions of Gaia were enjoying the luxurious surroundings of the Hotel Cipriani and were looking forward to the voyage ahead of them.
Blonde Gaia chuckled, "Well, whatever the case, I have to admit, his reaction was quite priceless."
Gaia said, "Agreed. " (Laughing.) Who would have imagined that the divine and the mortal could share such pranks?"
The two Gaias were then ready to enjoy the rest of their time at the Hotel Cipriani with a sense of mutual understanding and a growing interest about the mortal hunter who had captivated their curiosity. A story of divine beings and an unusual relationship created in the midst of adventure seemed to be woven into their futures.
"Two can play that game!", Kyn smirked.
