E.V. (Era Vulgaris)
This is the Vulgar Era before Gods (God in monotheism) blessed humans with wisdom. Everything that happened in this era is unholy since they were still unblessed. During this time, sorcery was prominent which was a practice considered neither good nor bad.
A.D. (Anno Deus)
Also called the Post Era. The current date era beginning approximately more than 2000 years ago. This is based on the estimated date when Gods had come down from heaven and gave humans wisdom which is the magic they possessed now.
Those who believe in monotheism think that this was the time God had communicated with humans and gave them wisdom (magic). Since magic existed, sorcery was forgotten and remained in history. Although there was magic, few humans discovered witchcraft practicing rituals dedicated to nothing and completing potions. This was considered wicked and whoever practices this are feared and considered a curse, because it was something invented by humans and not by Gods (God).
