It was early in the morning and the sun has just risen. Accompanying the sound of the birds chirping was the loud ringing of the doorbell at my house causing me to wake up from my peaceful slumber. And the culprit of the noise was none other than Arya.
"Reve! Arya is here." My mother shouted as she welcomes Arya. For someone who just woke up, my mom's voice was really loud considering it was coming from downstairs. "Oh Arya, what brings you here this early? Good thing I just woke up. Come in."
I decided not to reply back and went back to sleep. A few moments later, my door flung open causing me to wake up once more.
"Reve! Wake up! We have to go." Arya shouted with excitement. I decided to ignore her and it was clearly a mistake. After hearing no reply, Arya decided to go closer and whispered to my exposed ear. "Hey. Wake up now. We still have an adventure to take. A mission to finish, you know?"
It was so embarrassing that I let out a very uncharacteristic sound. I slowly opened my eyes and was greeted with Arya's beautiful yet mischievous smile. I stared at Arya for a while. It would have been ideal to be greeted by a beautiful girl as soon as I wake up. But knowing that is was Arya, I can't even feel happy about it. Arya was wearing another white one piece summer dress that fits her refreshing appearance. She tilted her head as if asking me as to why I was staring at her. Upon doing so, I covered my face with a blanket, turned to the other side, and went back to sleep.
"I said wake up already!" Arya exclaimed as she pulls the blanket, revealing me in his pajamas.
"What do you want?!" I shouted furiously as I grab my blanket back.
"I told you, we are going to continue our adventure."
"Didn't you say that we will start at 10am?"
"Well, I did say that."
"And what time is it now?"
"Hmm. 7:30am?" Arya replied as she smiles again.
"It's too early!"
"But, I missed you already. And besides, adventures don't have any schedule." Arya said as she tries to sound cute. But this cute act of her only earned my irritation.
"This girl..." I muttered as I press my temple. I know I promised to accompany her. But suddenly changing our schedule without even consulting me, I think that's too much.
"Now, hurry up! We still have a lot of things to do."
"Yeah, right. Now just wait outside. I'll just get ready."
"I knew you'll never say no to me." Arya teased with her ever so mischievous tone.
After forcing Arya out of my room, I dressed up and went to the living room where Arya was patiently waiting. She was quietly sitting on the sofa as the sun light illuminates her slim figure making her looked like a fairy with mystical dust around her. Seeing her being so quiet and modest like that made me forget all the irritation I was feeling a while ago.
"Yo." I greeted Arya.
"Ready?"
"Yep. But I think it is better if we eat breakfast first." I offered.
"You're right. Can't go to an adventure with an empty stomach." Arya laughed softly. After eating, we went out to start our adventure once more.
"Where are we going now?" I asked trying to keep my excitement within myself. Well, considering what happened yesterday, I didn't really have much expectation anymore. But the fact that we were solving mysteries was, in itself, exciting.
"Well, according to the second mystery, we should be heading to the, drum roll please, the convenient store!" Arya announced cheerfully.
"Ugh, this really is a bother." I spoke too soon.
