I've always been the black sheep of the gym and all the clients that come into my office look at me from head to toe to make fun of me and blame me for their beautiful shapes,
but I never cared about their opinion.
After all, I was the first to realize I wasn't like them.
And I didn't even want to look like the gym clients, because the last time that
I tried to do it I risked being raped by an alcoholic.
For a moment I was almost deluded that Matthew was different and that he saw me ... beautiful,
but now I know he was only interested in getting between my legs and taking advantage of the moment.
That's why he left me stranded in the middle of the gym when he learned I didn't have
enough experience as his cousin. And the other women he knows.
"How about seeing him at the next meeting?" - Taylor makes me roll my eyes for
the umpteenth time since he walked into my living room tonight, but I don't
have time to retort that Left-ass jumps on the sofa to sit next to me
suddenly, so I take a frown and hurry to point my index finger at him:
"Calm down." - I say between my teeth, bringing my face closer and closer to his broad muzzle and attracting
the attention of others when I press his nose with my index finger to push him back, but in
all answer he looks at me straight in the eye and growls to scare me while
Right-ass doesn't think twice before going up to my right side and taking a seat on the
sofa like the other pit bull did few seconds ago, as if he did it on purpose to annoy me.
I grit my teeth and start to snort loudly when I realize I'm surrounded by
Matthew's dogs, but I get distracted by Ian nodding at Taylor's proposal while
Tessa hurries to follow him:
"If I'll be surrounded by muscular guys... I'll be there." -she shrugs indifferently, earning
a dirty look from Ian, which I decide not to focus on, but when I realize
what they are talking about I frown distractedly.
