We were in our first year of college. It's the first term, and I don't know you yet, yet we're classmates. Naturally, we began our day by introducing ourselves, and I couldn't care less. I have no intention of knowing all of you since I am not even interested in knowing myself (tragic).
We've all settled down after a few days. That's right, we did.
I remember meeting you through activity in Readings in Philippine History. We're in the same group, but neither of us is participating. You're playing Pusoy at the time, and I'm attempting to make sense of the sheet of paper our professor has given us. But then something magical happened, and we both realized we were jerks, so we talked.
I also remember when our professor came to our group and we didn't even try to hide that we weren't listening, and I cursed that time since we were talking about something crazy. The amusing part is that he assumed I was irritated by the text. To be specific, I was frustrated by the character (whom I will not name for safety reasons ahhahaha), so let's just say I got away with it looking like the best student ever. We really liked the lecturer since he let us express ourselves and be creative as hell. History is frequently characterized as a dull subject, but I beg to differ.
And as a result of that occurrence, we became friends. You have your circle of friends, and I do as well. I'm on the left side of the room, and you're on the right. Even if we are too far apart, our insane bones always reached each other.
Bal, you are a very wise man. That is something I despise about you HAHA. It's not the hate, hate. But just chill out, hate (If you know, you know). You don't study at all; you're just naturally gifted. Remember when we had quizzes and examinations and I'd look at you across the room and say, "What's your score?" and you'd answer yours, and I'd roll my eyes because you beat me? It was a friendly rivalry between the two of us. The point is, I am the only one who studies, and you constantly beat me. Having you as a friend is pure joy.
I'll miss that about you.
