"Grace?"
"Huh?" She muttered, keeping eye contact with Christian. Who was taking her name?
"Grace?" Something touched her hand. "Look at me."
"What?" She jumped a bit and her head turned to Miguel. "I'm sorry. Did you say something?"
"Yes," he said, but the expression on his face said something completely else. He was this displeased. "Is your presence required somewhere else?"
"What? No," she shook her head, left to right, giving him a nervous smile as well. "No, I just thought I saw somebody I knew. It was a fluke though."
"I see." He gave her a small nod. "Would you like to have dessert?"
"Oh sure." Just as she said, the way to appear was to clear their table away and bring them the dessert menu as well.
She was a little bit of an Overthinker, meaning she had checked the menu of the restaurant before she came here, especially the specials. Based on that knowledge, she chose her desert.
