"Mr. Hudson, this is the 12th overtime this month are you sure you okay?" Said the Secretary. "No, no I'm fine I have to grind for that Christmas party I promised my family that I'll be paying for everything." Said Kevin. "But Christmas is still 3 months away are you sure you'll be fine?" Said the Secretary. "Yeah, I have some stuff to buy for the gifts and also Halloween is near too gotta save up for that too." Said Kevin. "Seems like Kevin is doing it again this year." Said Jack. "C'mon man you know I like my parties very well prepared." Said Kevin as he looks at him. "Yeah, yeah we know you do the best parties. I do give you credit for that so what's your plans this year?" Said Jack. "Ah, no hints it'll be a surprise." Said Kevin. "Damn it, I knew you would say that." Said Jack as he show's his defeat by asking Kevin the theme for this year. "Yeah, it is indeed sad to hear. That you don't get a hint this year, if not you could have guessed it quickly." Said Kevin as he shrugged. "I believe that you would do a banger of a job this year." Said Jack as he leaves to refill his cup with coffee.
"Man another innocent man got killed damn." "I know right who could have done to that person." As Kevin hears the conversation of the other co-worker's Jack came back with a cup for Kevin too. "Crazy right some person is running around just stabbing people I'd be careful at night if I were you." Said Jack. "Yeah, I should you having an early leave today right?" Said Kevin. "Yeah, why?" Said Jack after he sips his coffee. "Can you pick up a package from the post office it's the new materials for the Halloween party." Said Kevin. "Mind if I take a look inside?" Said Jack smugly. "No, it's just raw materials nothing really special." Said Kevin. "Alright I understand, the usual drop-off?" Said Jack. "Yeah, same drop-off, thanks dude." Said Kevin. "No Problem, you owe me a beer for this one." Said Jack as he returns to his desk.
4 hours later. And most of the employees already left for the night while Kevin is still doing his part. "Oi Kevin never thought I would find you here. You doing your monthly grind?" Said Eddie. "Oh, hi Eddie you're doing overtime too?" Said Kevin. "Yeah, I have my sister's hospitalization payments done this next weekend." Said Eddie. "Congratulations then hope she has been doing well after that accident." Said Kevin. "Thank you man, oh I heard that there have you heard of the recent news about a guy stabbing people in alleyways while wearing a mask?" Said Eddie. "Yeah I have but since I drive back home and after this so I'm probably gonna be fine. How about you like don't you just ride a bicycle? How about I drive you home we can't let your sister be worried that you went home while a murderer is running around town right now at night." Said Kevin. "You sure? I mean you are right though for now let's finish work." Said Eddie. "It's okay I mean I guess so let's finish for tonight." Said Kevin.
After the overtime work is done Kevin drove Eddie back to his apartment. "Hey, Kev. Thanks for the ride also good luck on that Halloween party see you this 31st ok I'll bring my sister if that's okay." Said Eddie. "Enjoy your night there Eddie don't drink too much celebrate as much as you want." Said Kevin as he waves and leaves to return to his home. His wife was waiting there and said. "The Kids are already sleeping, have you eaten anything?" Said Vanessa. "I just had some sandwiches. So that's probably no." Said Kevin. "I see there's still some steak on the fridge you want steak for tonight?" said Vanessa. "Sure, I'll have some." After that Kevin and his wife, Vanessa went to bed after eating some steak for dinner.
Meanwhile somewhere downtown...
"NO! NO! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!" Shouted the scarred man as a Masked figure pulls out a tape player and plays the tape in sequences. "I. Am. Sorry. Resistance. Is. Futile. Call. Me. Your. Worst. Nightmare." As the Masked figure walks closer to the victim. "Just what do you want from me?!" As the man screamed for mercy as a Man with a smiling mask walked in closer and tilted his head and plays his tape again. "You. Are. Not. Him. You. Are. Not. Worthy." The Masked man shoves the knife on the man without hesitation. Ending quickly as the man didn't scream in pain after getting stabbed. The Masked Figure continues to play his tape in sequences. "This. Is. Problematic. I. Need. To. Find. Him. Complete. The. Order. Who. Is. Next." As he stops playing the tape and leaves without a trace...
