Fifteen minutes after touchdown Val and ollie saw a wonder. They saw the death of an unknown beast.
"Look! The ground!!" oliver shouted.
The ground opened wide and slowly the beast, val and oliver slowly slid into the crack. When the snow settled, they are at least hundred feet under. Amidst the chaos happening around him, Val lost consciousness and dreamed about what happened two days before.
"The world will know what happened in a week. By then we must secure the site vally (only valentine's boss calls him that). For that to happen you must successfully deploy the BLOX I gave you. It will reveal your location and nullify all the waves travelling around that area." Said his boss.
"Your mission is to hide the humongous radiation surrounding the area and manifest that for ourselves."
But by the time they reached Greenland the radiation was very weak and in safe range. So, they had no choice but to visit the source and confirm themselves. Originally, they had to deploy the BLOX from the chopper but Val brought it with him since they were going down.
The device will now be my savior huh, val thought after slightly regaining consciousness.
He looked around for oliver and could see him in a distance. For his relief oliver was somehow unharmed. Now onto the next thing, valentine has to crawl over to oliver to activate the BLOX which is in oliver's bag. He crawled for a long time and could sense that something is different.
Let's just say that they were saved by a miracle from the fall. There is no chance they could've survived the cold. Somehow the place felt warm. Val ignored everything his mind was saying and crawled over to oliver.
He took the BLOX and crawled a little bit away from oliver as he don't know what the BLOX really do. Val always had his suspicions about his boss.
When he open the box and clicked the glowing red button, the BLOX exploded leaving val in an ocean of blood. The BLOX was an explosive designed to hurt val, not kill him. That intention of his boss alone kept him alive now. Val saw his blood flowing in all directions.
Minutes later Val closed his eyes for the final time.
Oliver regained consciousness and saw val die. Oliver started to cry. As if his cries woke another beast, a huge roar was let out somewhere from the ice. The blood on the floor stared to burn and soon val was covered in flames. Unable to move oliver screamed just one word.
"VAL!!!"
"VALLLL!!!"
The body of val began to float. His hair became a huge raging fire. Oliver even stopped his breathing and was silent when he saw a beast awaken. Slowly it was above oliver and his muscles cracked and lava flowed out of them. Val's face cracked and he slowly opened his eyes.
They were filled with fire. In those eyes, oliver saw the universe unfold.
Val started to speak something but oliver couldn't understand anything. Then the beast's face was lighting up with excitement along with as if he figured something out. Val's index finger touched oliver's head.
"Heyy man. You're oliver right?" the beast spoke.
Oliver was confused and asked, "Are you not oliver?"
"Oh boy! Let's get outta here bud."
"You didn't tell me who youuuu areeeeee—"
Val lifted ollie and took off. He was like a rocket, flames everywhere and in the blink of an eye; they were miles up in the sky.
Val looked up to the sky and looked down to earth. Finally, he gave moon a glance.
"Ark is back baby!!"
