Chapter 28 - The Two Teams Meet

However, Alan's team members were different. When they heard Alan's words, they burst into laughter.

"You!" Locke was at a loss for words. This person was never going to stop.

"Hahaha, I'm teasing you guys. What's wrong? I heard you guys say that you were going out. You didn't even find the Deadly Spectre Puzzle. How did you get out? There seem to be a lot of deadly ghosts here. This doesn't seem like our great Captain Locke's style of doing things." Alan continued.

"Hmph, take a few steps forward and see what's over there. I believe you'll take back what you said just now," Locke said unhurriedly.

Hearing this, Alan immediately laughed. What else in this world could scare him?

"What thing? Let me see. To be able to scare our Captain Locke, this thing doesn't seem to be something that's ordinary." Alan walked past Locke and then walked to the back.

As soon as he appeared, the dazzling lights made it difficult for Alan to open his eyes.

After a moment, Alan clearly saw what was inside.

"F*ck!" Alan exclaimed, then calmed down and tried to hide the shock in his heart. He squeezed his eyes hard and finally saw clearly.

There were many large transparent jars inside, and the jars were filled with human corpses.

There was a dense mass of corpses.

Alan backed out and returned to Locke.

"What do I take it as? Aren't they just some dead people? Does something as silly as this make Captain Locke retreat?" Alan continued to ridicule Locke.

"Hmph, if you have the power, then go in and take a look. Don't talk big here." Locke pursed his lips and looked at Alan disdainfully.

When Alan heard this, he was momentarily at a loss for words. Then, he said, "What's there to be afraid of? I'm not like regular people, I've seen deadly ghosts before, so I'm not afraid of some corpses."

"You're just a loudmouth that knows how to speak. If you have the power, come and fight me one-on-one?" Locke mocked.

"There's no need to fight you one-on-one. I definitely can't beat you, but I do dare go in here. Do you?" Alan said with a smile.

"I thought you weren't afraid of death. Turns out you're also a coward." Locke laughed.

He liked to see Alan suffer.

"I don't know if I'm a coward. I know some people are leaving before they enter. I don't know if I'm a coward." Alan pursed his lips and looked elsewhere.

The mockery was very strong.

Locke was about to refute, but Martin stopped him.

"Captain, don't listen to them. They're trying to goad you. You can't let him lead you by the nose." Martin said.

Alan, who was at the side, also heard this and said with a smile, "What is your name? Oh, right, I think you're called Martin. You're a big shot on the leaderboard. So that's how it is. You're really amazing."

Martin sneered and said, "Who are you, you little piece of trash? Why are you shouting here? If you want to leave, hurry up and leave. Don't be an eyesore here!"

He did not give Alan a chance at all and went ahead and cursed them. He believed that the other party did not want the two organizations to start a war, so there was no need to be afraid of him verbally. He could curse them freely.

Both sides were afraid of each other. Once a war started, neither side would gain anything.

When Alan heard this, he was a little unhappy, but he did not show it, so he pretended to apologize to Martin. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. It was me who offended you. Please don't blame me. I told you, you're a bigshot on the leaderboard. Why would you run away? We misunderstood you."

Martin listened to Alan's long speech. At first, he did not react, but later, he suddenly had an epiphany.

This guy was still holding on to this!

This guy really wanted to be torn apart by him!

"If you already know it's me, then who did you think it was? Your grandpa? Get lost!" Martin cursed angrily.

Alan also didn't show any weakness. "Yes, it's my grandpa. When did grandpa come here? Oh, I know. It's for the Deadly Spectre Puzzle, right? So you're leaving? "The malicious ghosts here are so weak. Grandpa, you can't deal with them, right? Please don't disgrace my grandpa!"

"F*ck you!" Martin couldn't help but curse Alan.

On the contrary, Alan's expression didn't change when he heard the curse. He looked at the people behind him and said, "Look, they are anxious. Look at his red face, Hahaha!"

"Hahahaha!"

Immediately, Alan's underlings also burst into laughter.

...

Maron and Mary still hadn't appeared but they had heard everything clearly outside.

It was the team that had called him and the team that had a conflict with Locke.

"Maron, are we going out?" Mary asked when she heard the conversation outside.

Maron said, "No need. Just listen here. Now that the two teams are fighting, we'll just wait and see."

"Two teams?" Mary was a little puzzled.

"Yes, another team came just now. But the two teams seem to have a lot of conflicts. They should be fighting." Maron could tell the situation from the voice.

"Oh, so that's it. Then we don't have to go out to reap the benefits." Mary said with a smile.

Of course, it was best to take advantage of the situation like this.

"No, we have to add more fuel to the fire. Otherwise, we might not be able to ignite it," Maron said with a mysterious smile.

After listening to Maron's words, Mary was even more puzzled. "What fuel?"

"You'll know when the time comes," Maron said.

After spending a few days together, Maron no longer felt unfamiliar with Mary.

Maron's words also gradually became more and more frequent as he opened up to her more.

"I feel that the Little Boy's Mother is coming to kill me. This feeling is very strong, and I also feel like I'm being targeted," Maron said.

"The Little Boy's Mother? Who Is this person?" Mary did not know that Maron had been targeted by the mother of a Little Boy's malicious ghost.

"Previously, I helped a malicious ghost cut off his nails, and then I was targeted for no reason. Oh right, his mother should also be a malicious ghost," Maron explained.

"The Little Boy died at the hands of his mother and turned into a ghost. I don't know if his mother is dead or not. Anyway, I feel that his mother is very strong and may exceed the disaster-level."

Mary could not help but worry when she heard Maron's words.

Maron had already told her about the probability of a disaster-level deadly ghost.

A disaster-level ghost was already terrifying enough, so when it came to a malicious ghost that surpassed a disaster-level malicious ghost, how terrifying would that be?!

"Then what do you do? What do you need me to do?" Mary asked worriedly.

"There's no need to do anything. Listen to those people outside. Aren't these all my teammates?" Maron smiled mysteriously.

"Teammates?" Mary was puzzled once again. This was Maron's style of speaking. She needed to guess.

"The deadly ghosts are here. I can shift my target to them and let them deal with them. I can't deal with deadly ghosts of this level, so I'll let them have a headache," Maron explained.

Mary was thinking about what Maron said.

After a few minutes, she finally reacted. Maron wanted to kill someone with a borrowed knife and he had already set his eyes on the two teams.

"You're so nasty!" Mary laughed.
