Chereads / Horror Game: All My Organs Have Their Own Consciousness / Chapter 17 - The Mysterious Phone Call

Chapter 17 - The Mysterious Phone Call

When Mary heard this voice, she subconsciously became wary.

"Who are you?" Mary asked.

"It doesn't matter who I am. The important thing is that I know that there are two people in the place where you are now." The other party's tone was a little playful.

"How did you know that there are two people here? You are wrong. Actually, there are four of us here." Mary said.

"No, pretty girl, lying is not good." The other party insisted that there were only two people here.

"It's up to you to either believe me or not. If you don't believe me, feel free to try to come see." After Mary said that, she hung up the phone.

At this time, Maron walked out of the room.

"Who were you talking to?" Maron heard Maron talking in the room. He was going to sleep, but he was a little worried.

He had a feeling that something was going to happen.

He felt uneasy.

Mary looked at Maron and said, "No one, just a weirdo."

In her opinion, this was a call from a weirdo. There was nothing of value to pay attention to.

And now this world had become a game world. To those who made threats- just nod your head and move on. There was no need to take them seriously.

They were still in a city with no people, so there was no need to worry about these problems.

"Weirdo? What weirdo? Tell me in detail." Maron lit a cigarette and sat down.

Seeing Maron's serious expression, Mary stopped looking down on him and told him the contents of the conversation.

"Someone called just now and said that they knew that there are two of us here. Their voices sounded very strange." Mary said.

Hearing this, Maron fell into deep thought.

Not long ago, his father also called and said that there might be someone targeting him.

This place was already a Restricted Zone.

If that was the case, it was very likely that the Ghost Fighters of the non-governmental organizations had already entered the city.

He didn't know where they got Mary's phone number.

[Ten minutes later, you died at the hands of the Ghost Fighters.]

At this moment, Maron's eyes lit up.

Seeing this hint, Maron realized the severity of the matter.

His eyes had never hinted like this before.

But now, it directly reminded him that ten minutes later, he died at the hands of the Ghost Fighters of a non-governmental organization.

This was undoubtedly an extremely dangerous organization. He hadn't fought with them before, but his future vision had directly sentenced him to death.

Maron could not stay any longer. He had to leave this place, or else he would only be left with death.

"Pack your luggage and leave quickly. We can't stay here any longer," Maron said to Mary.

Mary was stunned. What was going on?

Wasn't it just a threatening phone call?

Was there even a need for this?

It was quite safe to stay here. Other than some malicious ghosts who were not strong enough, there had not been any major incidents.

"If you don't leave, I'll leave alone," Maron said again.

Mary saw the fear in his eyes and became serious. She said, "Okay."

After saying that, Maron went to the room to find a backpack and casually put a few clothes in it.

He had to leave this place within ten minutes.

Since the other party knew that there were two people here, they must know their location.

This made Maron unable to understand how the other party knew their whereabouts.

Could it be the one of the Ghost Fighters' abilities?

Was this Ghost Fighter's ability tracking?

Five minutes later, Maron had already prepared everything and left this place.

"Where are we going?" Mary asked.

"I don't know. Let's leave this place for now."

Maron opened the door and walked downstairs.

When he reached the bottom, Maron let Mary get on his back.

Then, he started running.

[Your legs think that you're running too slowly and fear that you're losing distance. You've awakened the Strength of a Thousand Djinn.]

This was exactly what Maron wanted.

Although he had already overloaded previously, the current situation did not matter even if he used it again.

Maron ran faster and faster, and the dust on the roadside was swept up.

Two minutes later, Maron appeared in an attic about 50 miles away from where he was.

At this moment, his legs were overloaded and he couldn't walk anymore.

He hadn't recovered from the previous times, but he had used it again.

Perhaps after this time, it would take a lot of time to recover.

But he felt that other organs would also awaken just in case he was in danger.

The ability to awaken organs was affected by the environment. As long as he was in an environment that would be fatal to him, the organs would awaken.

But these abilities needed to recover and recovery required time.

For a short period of time, Maron could no longer use the strength of his legs.

"Cough, cough, cough." Mary could not bear such a speed, so she began to cough violently.

After a while, Mary finally recovered.

"What should we do next? Should we stay here?" Mary looked at Maron, who was resting on the ground.

"We need to stay here for the time being."

Maron didn't want to talk. He needed to recover now.

Mary saw that Maron was tired, so she didn't ask any more questions.

Gradually, it was almost dawn.

Maron had regained the ability to walk so he went to the bathroom in the attic to wash his face.

Then he heard Mary's cell phone ring.

He immediately went out and signaled for Mary to give him the phone.

Mary took a look; it was the number from last night.

Then she handed the cell phone to Maron.

Maron took the cell phone, and then swiped to answer it.

"I didn't expect you guys to run so fast, but it's useless." The voice on the receiver sounded like an old man.

The tone was as if they were talking about their deaths.

"Heh, let's try it. Let's see who will kill who first," Maron said disdainfully.

What he hated the most was people threatening him.

"Oh, you're not that pretty girl. Then you must be Maron. You're number one on the list. You must have a lot of good things on you."

The other party's tone was filled with excitement.

"Hehe, bite me." After saying that, Maron hung up the phone.

Obviously, the other party was not just one person.

One person did not have the courage to come to a place called the Restricted Zone.

Maron was thinking at this moment, when his phone rang.

It was his father calling.

"Hello." Maron took a look and picked up the call.

"They have their eyes on you. They have gone to the Restricted Zone to look for you. You must be careful. They sent a total of thirty people this time. Most of them are at the top of the list. You must be careful." Maron's father said worriedly.

"Okay, I got it. You must be careful too." Maron hung up the phone after saying that.

Mary, who was beside him, also heard the conversation and was a little curious.

"Who is this?" Mary asked curiously.

"My father," Maron said.

"Your father?" Mary didn't continue to ask as it seemed a bit impolite.

"Let me tell you the truth. Someone is already targeting me. You can leave now. Their target is not you, but me," Maron said.
