Chapter 13 - The Student Ghosts!

Before the Ghost Teacher could react, its arm was broken again.

Then, a person rushed up from behind it and snatched its ruler away.

The Ghost Teacher looked at the two of them fiercely and said, "The student openly snatched the teacher's ruler that was to be used to educate the student. Just you wait, you're going to be punished!" After saying that, the Ghost Teacher's body began to twist and begin to rot.

With a 'plop', it fell backwards to the ground and broke into pieces.

[You startled the students in the entire teaching building. One minute later, you escaped.]

The notification in Maron's eyes lit up.

Seeing this notification, Maron knew that it was not appropriate to stay here for long.

"Let's go," Maron said and left the classroom with Mary.

After leaving the classroom, they heard the sound of bones cracking, it was especially loud in the empty school.

This time, all the students in the entire teaching building came out of the classroom and rushed in one direction and that was towards where Maron was now.

"Let's go," Maron said, then found the stairs and ran down.

With his current strength, he couldn't deal with so many malicious ghosts.

If he stayed here, he could only wait for death.

One ghost wasn't much, but what about a group of them?

They could exhaust you to death.

Finally, the two of them escaped from the school in front of so many Ghost Students.

Looking at the students who blocked the school gate and couldn't come out, Maron suddenly let out a sigh of relief.

"Fortunately, these students can't come out," Maron said happily.

Mary looked at Maron and said seriously, "Thank you."

It was like this. If Maron really left and didn't go up, she would have died.

Or she would have become a member of the school as a malicious ghost.

"No need. I just want to see if there is anything I need." Maron waved his hand, then took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up.

Mary heard his words and didn't continue to say anything.

She understood that everything Maron did was for her.

Otherwise, who would accompany a person who knew nothing to such a place.

He even brought her out from such a dangerous place.

No matter what, she had to thank Maron.

[Ding Dong!]

Mary's cell phone suddenly rang.

She took out her cell phone and took a look. It was a mission notification.

[Congratulations on participating in the mission: find the student who isn't paying attention to the class.]

[Mission completion: 200%. Two years of life.]

[You have obtained a Cursed Tool: The Teacher's Ruler.]

[Star level: One star.]

[Description: This ruler was once used to educate students. It is not known when, but someone once took it and smashed their heads into pieces.]

After reading it, she handed the phone to Maron.

This was her trust in Maron.

Right now, the phone was very important. It could give you an upgrade, and you could also give your own things to others through the phone.

In other words, the phone was the player's second life. Without the phone, after five years, they could only wait for death.

Maron was stunned for a moment and took it.

After taking it, he did not look at it immediately.

Instead, he looked at Mary suspiciously and said, "Aren't you afraid that I will take your cell phone and run away? Or take away the Cursed Tool that you obtained?"

Mary revealed a sweet smile and said, "I'm not afraid. Even if you really take away all my things, I won't do anything because my life was saved by you. I would even go as far as to say that my entire body is now yours."

When Maron heard this, he suddenly had goosebumps.

What she said was a little mushy.

Maron didn't say anything. He picked up the phone and took a look.

He was a little surprised. Mary's was a little different from his.

In this mission, Mary had gained a total of three years of life and a Cursed Tool.

"Not bad." Maron threw the phone over and left without looking back.

Mary took the phone. Although Maron's attitude had always been cold and aloof, to be honest, he was actually very good to her.

He didn't even move her when she was naked and sleeping with him.

He was always cold and aloof, but, he was also very handsome!

Mary stood in the same spot with a sweet smile on her face and after a while, she realized that Maron had already gone far away.

"Wait for me!" Mary jumped up and waved at Maron's back.

Maron acted as if he didn't hear her and kept walking forward.

Seeing this, Mary quickly chased after him, afraid that Maron was really far away.

After a while, Mary finally caught up with Maron.

She put her hands on her knees and panted heavily.

Maron was walking too fast. She couldn't catch up with him even if she ran.

But Maron walked so fast as if nothing had happened. He didn't even take a breath.

"Why are you walking so fast? Why didn't you wait for me?" Mary asked coquettishly.

Maron said casually, "Who told you to be so slow?"

Mary heard it and agreed.

There was no reason to refute. She was walking too slowly.

"Smile, don't keep a straight face." Mary jumped up and down behind Maron.

Maron smiled helplessly and said, "Can you be quiet for a while? You're always chattering. Can't you save some energy?"

Mary acted as if she didn't hear it and only saw Maron's smile.

"Oh right, since I left home, I haven't seen anyone other than the driver. What's going on? Are all the people in this city dead?" Mary suddenly thought of this question.

Maron thought for a moment and explained, "It's very likely that there's no one in this city, and the driver as well, isn't human either."

Mary seemed to have heard a huge piece of news and quickly asked, "Then... are they all dead?"

"I don't know. Maybe they're dead, or maybe they've already evacuated." Maron continued walking.

Mary followed behind him thoughtfully.

"Are you hungry?" Mary suddenly asked.

"No."

"Oh." Faced with Maron's cold answer, Mary had no choice. She was indeed a little hungry.

After the incident at school, it was already evening.

Mary lowered her head and followed behind Maron.

"AH." Mary suddenly bumped into someone.

He raised his head and saw that it was Maron.

Just as he was about to say something, Maron covered his mouth from behind.

Maron made a silent gesture with his hand. "Shh!"

Before Mary could react to what had happened, she was about to raise her head and look at Maron.

Maron pointed at a place.

Mary looked at the place where he pointed.

She saw a group of people walking in an orderly manner on the road over there.

The line was very long, so she couldn't see their faces clearly from a distance.

Maron slowly retreated to the back with Mary, and then hid behind a tree to observe.

At this time, Maron let Mary go.

"Are those people?" Mary asked in a low voice.

"I don't think so," Maron explained.

"Then what should we do? It's going to be dark soon." Mary asked again.

"When they leave, we'll go back."

Maron said, looking at a group of people in the distance.
