Dilan had successfully fulfilled his dream of becoming a Medical doctor. On the day when he was to give a speech reporters were in their large numbers. When they had seen Noah Thor with his wife and Sir Karin and his wife walk in they had tried to approach them to get answers to their questions but the securities hadn't even given them a chance. They all became impatient as they waited for Dilan to begin his speech.
Nix and his wife Sasha had also been present with a few more being Silvia, Zen, and Charles. Zen hid in the shadows for fear of being caught in the hands of Dilan Thor.
"He's afraid of Dilan?" Charles laughed
Silvia nodded.
"So how does he feel around Noah Thor himself?"
"I don't think he scares him that much"
"Maybe he might have lost his Taste" Charles added just then a professor walked up to the stage.
He addressed the crowd and the reporters alike. He then acknowledged the presence of the Thors before recognizing the other special guests around. And he was right about what he did, the Thor family had attained such a position that they were to be first mentioned even if the president was around he wouldn't mind. Unknowingly to Noah Thor, his family had earned zenith respect from all abode on hearing about the induction of his son into the medical line.
After the professor had given his pleasantries to all and sundry. He began his little part of the speech on Dilan Thor it was kind of a long speech for Noah Thor but every word made him more proud of his son.
Then he introduced Dilan Thor as the crowd gave him a standing ovation.
He was dressed simply but still threw the ladies of their balance. Lily couldn't help but feel the urge to kick their asses one by one if they dared to cross her man.
Dilan searched the crowd looking for someone till he found her. He began without taking his eyes off her, lily never felt more proud than she already did she felt like standing up with the microphone in her hand just declaring to the world that that was her man....her husband.
"Before I begin....ill love to thank and give my most heartfelt appreciation to someone who had been by my side to cheer me on and hold me fast.....to my beautiful wife"
Lily could hear murmurs from the ladies around her
"He has a wife?"
The spotlight hit on lily and she smiled at Dilan. He had caught her first before she even had a chance. He also expressed his gratitude to his parents and relatives before he began his speech. While he gave his speech he could feel the piercing gaze from Silvia.
"I have to say he's really good"
"Of course, he is," Silvia said without breaking her gaze from him. She touched her heart as she watched him
"Are you alright?" Charles asked noticing her weird behavior.
"Isn't he so perfect?"
Charles almost burst into a fit of laughter
"You remember he's married right?" he wanted to ask but rebuff from doing so.
He somehow expressed his regrets about his plans getting twitched but nevertheless
"Everything has a reason"
He summarised with an appraise of the professors, consultants, and Medical Personnel that have helped him scale through and finally get to this point
When he was done he received a standing ovation but this time with more cheers. He went straight to his wife and took her over to too the set of professors who stood in wait for him.
"Aren't we going over with what we planned?" Charles asked in fury when he saw Dilan hold lily by her waist
"Let's leave her to say her final goodbye"
His face crumbled with an expression that read
"I can't wait"
"The patient dog..." she said
He rolled his eyes
"Eats the fattest meat"
