Phoenix's attention was focused on Dilan he didn't notice when Sasha slipped out. When Dilan had finished and had taken his wife to meet a group of people he turned to Sasha but her sit was empty. His suspicion grew wider....he stood up and began to look for her around. He passed crowds of people but he couldn't find her, he went to the lady's restroom but she wasn't there either. He didn't think her to be in the men's room but his legs had already begun to go in that direction. He was about to push the door open when he heard a voice.....Sasha's voice.
"Hope this goes well....."
"Your such a scary cat are you?" a male voice replied
Phoenix's face darkened....that voice seemed familiar he racked his brain for who it might be but it seemed nothing was able to come forth.
He became annoyed with himself until a name rang in his head
"Zen"
His eyes widened and the door opened. He hid immediately and saw his wife walk out but no one came out with her. He was about to come out from his hiding place when he heard footsteps and the man's face came into view
"Zen" he gritted his teeth.
He felt the urge to give him a large punch but restricted himself. He waited till Zen had left then he went straight to Noah Thor
"Nix what's the problem"
"Sir can I talk to you outside"
Noah Thor looked at his brother and then his wife
"Speak nix"
Just as Nix was about to talk Dilan walked in with his wife
"Zen is back"
Nix had expected a reaction from Dilan but he got none
"You already knew?" he asked Dilan and he nodded.
"And do you know he's up to something with Sasha?"
"He's not up to anything with her nix," Dilan said and left with lily.
"He's being too careless with issues like this" Noah Thor gritted
"I'll look into this" Karin said and left.
"Look after Sasha.... make sure you watch her every move"
Nix nodded and left to find her
"Don't you think that's something serious?"
Lily asked
"As long as it doesn't affect you then no"
he said plainly but it made her heart flutter in many ways
They drove out
"Let's start with something simple" Silvia smiled and picked up her phone
Ring ring
Lily bought out her phone the caller ID was unknown but she picked it either way
"Little flower.... " a voice rang and lily froze
"Take a look at your left"
Lily turned to her left and Saw Dilan beside her
"He looks like he's getting closer to his grave don't you think?....little flower"
She didn't reply and instantly cut the line.
"Are you okay?" Dilan asked. She nodded
When they had gotten home the house was crowded with reporters that were getting impatient from being neglected. Rhys had done a good job by keeping them off till Dilan arrived. Rhys explained the situation to Dilan who told him to find a way to calm the crowd and that he would attend to them soon.
"Go up and wait for me," he told lily who obeyed.
He began to answer the questions thrown to him by the reporters.
"Sir....why did you decide to desert your empire just to become a medical doctor"
"Sir did your wife support you on your idea of becoming a medical doctor"
"Sir compared with your being a CEO and a doctor what do you think everyone would think?"
"Sir did you gather Noah Thor agree with your decision"
"Sir, what prompted you to your decision?"
Dilan sighed
Lily freshened up and lay on the bed to get some sleep when her phone rang
She knew it was Silvia calling so she blocked the line. Her phone screen lit up
"Meet me by 6 pm or you'll regret it"
Lily smashed her phone and cuddled herself.
After an hour Dilan excused himself to meet his wife, when he got to the room he met lily in a worse situation than he had left her.
"Lily?" he held her. She hugged him tightly. After a few minutes, es he put her down knowing she'll be fully asleep. He was about to go to the shower when he saw her cracked phone on the floor. He picked it up and what he said released the demons from their chains
