They finally reached to lily's apartment. Lily thanked liam as she walked out of the car he walked out to
"See you tomorrow" and she nodded and smiled. He was about to add something but then his phone buzzed and he looked at lily and bade her good bye. He entered the car and drove off speedily.
lily still feeling tired walked sluggishly into the house only to find a very devastated Charles sitting on the couch with his face on his laps when she walked in he immediately stood up and walked over to her. Lily didn't understand why he was like that
"Where's your Phone?"
"Oh i...." he interrupted her
"Why didn't you answer me?"
"Or reply my messages?"
"What did i do wrong lily?" he kept on blabbing
Lily just hugged him and he fell silent. After a while she spoke up
"I was in a hurry for my interview today and in the process i forgot my phone in my room." He looked at her
"I'm sorry for shouting at you lily" he said apologetically
"there's no problem" she replied as they both sat down
"So how did it go?" he asked her
"Well i got the job" she said with no smile on her face
"Why aren't you happy?" he asked noticing her mood
"Its only temporal"
"Oh" he said. He was somewhat sad but happy. He had always thought that there had to be a reason why they had accepted her so quick.
"Don't worry lily"
"You'll find yourself a place where you would love okay?" he consoled her. He was scared to loose her to any one especially to the CEO of that company he had heard that his father had been in search of a woman for him tho knowing that he himself found no interest in women he knew that he would agree to whatever his father tells him to do following the incident that has occurred.
He didn't want to take that risk besides he knew lily would be a catch but her work being temporal lessened his fear a little but he would have to take a big step in order to secure her from prying eyes. She laid on laps while he played with her hair
"Your mine" he said within himself
"Your all mine" and he smiled. After a little while he noticed that she was sound asleep he quietly and slowly released himself and carried her up to her room. He removed her suit and left the rest on. He placed her hair behind her ears and covered her with the sheets. He turned to leave but he heard her mumble something he walked closer to her and strained his ear. She stopped and he looked at her he came down from the bed
"Don't leave" he heard her saw loudly. He was a little shocked and turned to her but she already grabbed his arm so hard that he found it hard to leave. After a lot of struggling he slept besides her smiling to himself
"Don't worry i won't" and he slept off
