My eyes widen after hearing the message. Right on cue, 4 men wearing blue and black Armour with blaster rifles in hand burst through the door. Their very presence the stunned the bar into silence, even the musicians stopped playing. Everyone was frightened for their life. Many were shivering with fear.
The armor clad men scanned the surroundings, blasters at the ready. Every one the looked at shivered even more intensely with fear, engulfing their whole body. Some were even frozen and letting out screams. 'Seems like his majesty was serious about wanting to eliminate the gangs...why else would he send the royal Marines. 'I thought to myself.
Not long after, they looked in my direction, the soldier who spotted me looked at his comrades and gave them the signal to advance on my position. I reached towards my elbow guard. After some static humming, it replicated itself and a mask formed in my right hand. It was made from carbon fiber and tritanium around he forehead area and was painted in a shiny black colour. There were no holes other than 3 horizontal slits that were illuminated in a bright blue colour. I slipped it onto my face and it hooked itself on.
My brain worked overtime, the marines surely figured out that I am someone of importance by now. My hands were still on the table and were out of reach of my weapons hidden in my jacket. I was defenseless... Or so I wanted it so seem.
In 2 minutes the Marines had me completely surrounded. "On your feet. Up! Let's go!" one of the soldiers commanded. His voice was altered from the modulator in his helmet. It sounded like he was talking through a radio. I smirked. They think they have me.
"C'mon move it! I don't got all day..." he repeated. When I still neglected to respond to him, he become irritated, ordering his comrades to cuff me.
"You're gonna need bigger hand cuffs.. And many more men," I responded, amused. Even with their helmets on, I could still tell that they were confused. Using this momentary window, I put my feet on the bar stool and pushed off. In one swift motion I flipped over the two Marines behind me and grabbed the pistol holstered on their side. Now armed with a pistol, I quickly disposed of the two confused soldiers, shooting the weak spot in the armour between the neck and shoulder.
*PEW* *PEW* the two blaster bolts filled the air, followed by the simultaneous fall of two men in tin cans.
Only two soldiers remained and they were both frightened by what the just saw. I threw the pistol in my hand at the one on the right, stunning him temporarily. I ran towards the one on the left. Along the way I rolled over the bar stool I was just sitting on. While rolling I unhooked the stool from the ground with my right arm from the ground and tossed it at the Marine with the momentum carrying over from the action of rolling. The soldier was knocked unconscious.
*ZANG* *ZANG * I heard two heavy blaster bolts ring in the air behind me. Glancing behind I saw the two bolts headed for by body. With no other choice I folded my right arm in 'V' shape to protect my body, crouching down to reduce the exposed area, the bolt was deflected onto the ground as a metallic ringing permeated the air. Swiftly, I stood back up at full height and extended my right arm to block the next, deflecting it back at the marine.
The deflected bolt knocked the rifle out of the Marines hands. In absolute shock, he simply stared at me in fear. I can hear him mutter a "what the..." under his breath. I grinned under my mask, dashing towards him in a blinding blue light and giving him a swift right hook, knocking him out instantly.
With the chaos finally over, I surveyed the surroundings, the spectators were admiring the scene with awe and fear. At that instant, a female wearing a blue cloak with neon lighting burst through the door. She wore a mask in the shape of a skull, with the eyes and mouth holes being illuminated in a blue light. She also wore a skin-tight body suit under the cloak, adorned with guns and knives. She approached me.
"Are you alright captain?" she asked with a hint of worry behind her heavily modulated voice
"I'm fine... Do me a favour and dispose of them, Meg.. I've had enough excitement for one night" I replied coldly while wringing my right hand. It was not actually in pain. My right arm is a prosthetic arm made from tri-hollium alloy, the strongest material known. Thus allowing me to easily defect bullets.
"With pleasure, " Meg replied. She took out her pistol concealed in her cloak, landing two well placed bullets, killing the Marines and exiting the bar with me.
