Chapter 2 - What I Need

It's been one week ever since I've arrived at Ervius' castle. I really can't take this anymore. I am very bored. As soon as I stepped outside the room given to me, they told me that I am not allowed to go outside.

"Why don't you tell us all you need my lady?", the servant asked.

"NO!!!", I shouted.

The servants are all shocked.

"I need to see Ervius...", I said.

"Please....", I begged.

The first day that I arrived in his castle is the last day I've seen him. I didn't realize it before. But they are not allowing me to see him.

"Mr. Ervius has a lot of things to do...", the other servant said to me.

The servant's words did not reach my impatient brain.

How could he never show up? I thought I am his bride? Or maybe he doesn't like me as his bride?

Then why would he tell me directly?

Avoiding the problem won't be helping.

"Take me to Ervius. Right now.", I ordered.

"That's impossible...", the servant said.

"I know all of you don't want me here...", I stated as I shut my mouth because of sorrow and anger.

The servants were all surprised at my words.

"Ma'am, why wou- ", then I interrupted them by saying, "Just let me finish this, please take me to him."

I glared at them angrily, the servants exchanged looks and agreed to me.

Ervius' room wasn't far away from my room.

When we arrived, Ervius was shocked.

"I have word to speak with you!", I said to Ervius.

Ignoring the startled servant, because I can never meet him if I didn't act a little reckless.

"...?"

Ervius lifted his face to stare at me while working.

"I came to see you myself, because you didn't even visit me even though I waited for a long time.", I stated.

Just as he said that if I need anything, I must ask the servants, I shouted, "They can't give me what I need!"

He then slightly loosened his tie and stood up, walking up to me. I glanced at him without containing any emotions in my gaze.

".... because it is YOU that I needed Ervius", I uttered calmly.
