CHAPTER 15
"A golden heart necklace, with beautiful diamond decorating the heart necklace."
"I want it."
Emma was shocked. How rich could he be? He just wanted it without bothering to know how much it would cost him. Thinking he might underestimate the jewel de to how their store looked, she decided to save him from himself.
"But you do not know the price. How can you just…"
"I need it, please. What is the price and I would make the transfer as soon as possible," Abaddon pleaded.

"Please."
She blinked twice. She had been staring at him subconsciously but when he said that please, although not loud but she could hear him in her subconscious.
"Oh, um, I am sorry. Yes, you said?"
"I said…" He paused as a smile broke out on his lips. "I would love to buy it."
"Okay," she said more slowly and before. "I would warn you again though, it is very expensive."
"I know and she is worth more than any piece of jewellery."
"Alright. Please right this way, I would bring the necklace out."
"Alright. I would be waiting."
Emma gave her best of smiles to him as she proceeded in getting out the piece of jewelry from the glass case. Meanwhile, in her heart, she wasn't at all happy about the situation.
It simply meant all her hopes of having or even being with this man was gone even before she got a chance.
Following her duty, she did as what was requested of her and once she was sure the payment was made successfully, she went straight to him with the jewel atop a lovely soft pouch.
"Here you go." She handed it over to him so he could see his goods first hand before it was packaged away.
"Thanks." All Abaddon did was smile at the jewellery but the thoughts in his heart… was something Emma could never have figured out.
'Hmm, she sure is a lucky girl to have him get her that. I bet his love for her is undying. I wish them good luck in their life together. Take heart Emms, yours is coming soon.'
With that little self-motivation she gave herself, she took the pouch from him and was about going to get the casing to place it in for him to take away when he said the words that would change her life forever.
"They are yours. It is a token of my feelings for you."
GAGHAN!
Emma could not believe her ears. She stopped suddenly, unable to take another step in the direction she was headed for.
Her heartbeat instantly began to thud loudly in her chest almost deafening her eardrums.
What in the heaven's had happened just now?
Noticing how speechless and shocked she was, he made a step forward, getting very close to the counter. His plan had really be put in action and yielded the effect that he had hoped for.
"Even though I still do not know your name, but the smile on your face radiates not just the sunlight but also brings light into my dark world. Right from the first day I saw you, I knew you were my world. Be my forever and give me a chance to prove to you just how worthy of everything you are."
She gasped. She really wanted to see his face again and watch as he spoke those to her. Quickly she turned around before he got the chance to stop speaking and telling her of his feelings.
Her eyes sparkled with glee and life as she waited in anticipation for him to continue.
"You deserve more than this because my dear, you are more than this and I cherish you so much."
"I… I do not know what to say," Emma finally voiced out truthfully.
She knew he would be expecting her to say something but what was he expecting, she wasn't so sure of herself.
"Then just say yes. Please agree to my proposal and give yourself a chance to be happy. Give me a chance to make you the happiest lady on this earth."
"I…" she was speechless still. He smiled at her warmly, placing a hand on hers and looking deeply into her eyes.
"I love you. Please give us a chance to make this workout. I would do virtually anything in my power to have you, just please, make me happy."
"I…"b Emma opened her mouth to speak but before she could utter a word, he cut her short quickly.
"Please do not say no."
She smiled at him. He was assuming things that may well be wrong. She really did like him and all that but she did not want to jump into the relationship just like that.
"I didn't say no."
"Then what are you saying? What is your response, darling?"
"Calm down. I think we are…"
"Just say yes, please. Accept my heart."
"But I do not even know your name and how…" She did not get to finish her words when he cut her short.
"I can settle with that. I would tell you my name. Funny enough, I was just too engrossed in your beauty and smile that I forgot to ask for your name. Mind my manners. Please forgive me. My name is Abaddon. What is yours?"
"My name is Emma."
"Emma," he said it as though he was trying to recall or save it to memory. "Such a nice name. So Emma, what is it?"
"Umm…" she closed her eyes, trying to contemplate her answer.
"Please, Em, I promise you, you would not regret it. Trust me." He winked at her, flashing her his warmest smile.
That was the straw that broke Carmel's back as it captivated her heart further. "Fine, yes."
"Yes, what?"
"Yes, to your proposal. I would give us a try." Her lips parted, revealing her charming smile once more.
'Jackpot, Abaddon. Done deal.' He praised himself in his mind and counted his wins slowly.
