"Oh, she, Kyo-kun, Yuki-kun, and Momiji-kun are at a hot springs resort," Shigure answered back.
"Oh, really?" Masayuki responded back.
"Yeah, you missed everything," Shigure replied back. "If you want to, you can book for an inn room for a night in order to catch up with them. They will be here by tomorrow."
"I see. Okay then. I'll book a room then."
"Yeah, today is White Day for Momiji-kun so he and the others went to that hot springs inn to spend the night," Handa explained.
"Okay, let's book before we miss more."
And so, Shigure booked an inn room for Masayuki, Emiko, and Handa for the entire night, with him paying for it even though it causes Masayuki to be concerned about his financial situation. After that, Masayuki and Emiko went back to their apartment to pack up their belongings. Once that was done, they informed their family about their one-night trip, in which they agreed too immediately because they wanted them to be happy. But, Tohru's other cousins really disliked them having fun in that way. After that, they and Handa, who had brought a backpack as well, took a reserved bus to that hot springs resort. While at the bus, Masayuki was listening to music while reclining on his seat while Emiko and Handa are across the aisle looking at a brochure.
"Man, I hoped it's gonna be surprise for Tohru-chan, Kyo-kun, Yuki-kun, and Momiji-kun," he thought to himself.
Later at 7 in the evening, they had arrived at the hot spring inn, and they get off the bus with their belongings. After that, they checked in at the lobby and one of the inn staff lead them to their room, which was fortunately next to Tohru's. And upon entering the said room, the three of them amazed at the beautiful furnishings and spacious space.
"Wow, this is so awesome," Masayuki commented.
"Yeah, it is," Handa added.
"Please, enjoy your stay here," the staff member told them with a bow; he then left them.
After settling down, Masayuki opened his shoulder bag, grabbed his journal and pen, and started writing about his day in detail. Emiko felt relaxed after a hard, final exam at school, while Handa felt exhausted by it.
"I luckily passed the exam," he commented, "so I could be in high school by April."
"Yeah, I'll be at Tohru's school as well," Masayuki responded to this.
"I'm so excited to be at Tohru's school," Emiko happily replied in response.
"Yeah, me too as well."
