As the clip ended people noticed Boreis The God of winter had already extinguished the fire. He loved his life. "Since the fire went out on its own during the short scary movie we just watched, I think it's safe to say Luther rules by default." Boreis said with no remorse of taking away the only chance of freedom. It was beyond obvious by all the snow in the middle of the room that it did not go out on its own.
Most people didn't complain. It helped them not to feel guilty about their decision. Lucas couldnt help snorting laughter out. Boreis was their ally even before Mazaya stole power from them. That's probably why he had no care in the world right now. They didn't punish any of the Gods they knew for sure had nothing to do with the betrayal.
Boreis was one of the few neutral Gods that didn't join them out of fear but because he wanted to. The last war they had against The God of light proved his loyalty. He saved Lucas's life and died because of it.
So Lucas made sure that his packet just said he had to be loyal and let Luther use his powers when needed. He had no magic restriction. The only real law he had was, he was not to allowed to use his magic against The dark high table.
Unfortunately as everyone was paying attention to Boreis, noone noticed Kye nonchalantly walk to the middle and set the packet down before setting his packet on fire. It took a second for people to notice but when they did. "Looks like Kye is ruler. We did make a agreement." Luther said to Exodus. The room erupted in chaos as Luther used a dagger to cut himself. "I vote we kick the God of light out all together." Boreis said receiving a large number of agreements.
As Exodus cut his hand, Boreis teleported to their table. "Here's the thing. Here goes my packet fresh and burn free. Now you may have made an agreement but it was by mouth. How about you add me to this oath out the kindness of your heart. I can promise you loyalty." Even with his sense of humor Boreis was still very serious. "Why not. I agree." Lucas said making Boreis sigh in relief.
The room erupted in even more chaos. Gods were going to Luther's table and giving him their packet. Luther was going to take this opportunity. It was at first just to scare everyone into submitting. But now because of Kye, Luther could use this to his advantage. "Ok everyone relax. Anyone willing to do a blood oath to guarantee their loyalty will get our guarantee that we will calm Mazaya down to the best of our abilities." Luther stated.
Lucas abruptly got up and started walking towards Kye. Before Kye could react Lucas grabbed him and teleported out. Luther put a block of entry into the hall. So for the next few hours Luther did Oaths with the willing Gods without interruptions.
It was all the same blood Oath. Exodus and Luther would agree to try to calm down Mazaya if she ever Got unstable as long as the said God agreed to give their compete Loyalty to Exodus and Luther. If the bond was broken By Luther or Exodus than they had to reset time to make sure the said God lived. If said God broke the bond than they would lose their freedom completly and there magic wouldn't work without a okay from Luther or Exodus.
This worked in Luthers favor more than anyones. Half of the Light Gods in the room made a Oath with them. About alittle over half of the dark gods made a Oath also which disturbed Luther because the dark Gods should've been 100%. He never betrayed any of them. Everyone who didn't make the oath lost his trust.
"Since everyone that wanted a blood oath has come up here, I have a few things to announce now. First is that, I will still rule because Mazaya signed a unbreakable law giving me power. Secondly, as of today we will no longer kill Mazaya to reset time unless someone with a blood oath gets hurt." Luther said dryly.
Half of the room erupted into chaos. People were yelling and saying they were tricked. It looked like a fight was about to break out. Luther didn't have time for this he had business to take care of. "You made your choice. So I don't want to hear any complaints and also I need the God of Good Fortune to come to my office. The meeting is over." Luther said as he stood and teleported away.
