"You're mine" Luther said loud enough for every council member to hear. This was a statement he decided to make. He just didn't think that statement would turn bigger than anticipated when Mazaya said "Yes", Loud enough for the whole room to hear.
Earlier when Lucas hit Mazaya, Luther snapped. He didn't see how hurting Mazaya would help their cause. So they got into a heated discussion that ended abruptly when Mazaya cried for help. Now he seen what Lucas was trying to do even though it was risky. Luther motioned for Lucas to come over.
Lucas had black eyes because of how angry he was, so when he walked over, there were no pleasantries from him. Luther looked up at Lucas while shaking his head.
"I should've never doubted you and I'm sorry. You have to understand I was all for it up until it seemed like you attacked Mazaya. I want to apologize." Luther said trying to reconcile with the only God who had always had his back.
Lucas couldn't help but crack a smile. Nomatter how angry he was he could never stay mad at Luther. They had to stick together. So he let it go no questions asked.
"It's fine just next time I say trust me, I expect you to trust me. Unless I completely fuck up than you know. I expect you to fix it." Lucas said cracking a joke. Even for someone as ruthless as him he loved to have fun and joke around. He was only serious when it involved business.
Luther shook his head while looking down at Mazayas body. She would be asleep for awhile.
"I'll be back make sure noone leaves. It's time to get down to business" Luther said before instantly vanishing. The whole hall was in a frenzy now. The Dark Gods were celebrating and laughing. While the Light Gods we're whispering to each other. All of the Dark High table members were ready for a fight.
Only someone who lived under a rock would believe that the Light high table would allow this to happen. So when Lucas sat down he didn't talk at first. He observed. They needed to know who betrayed them for power to switch back to light. Having their memories back proved that multiple Gods betrayed them because Luther was careful.
Luther made sure to conjure up a confidentiality spell whenever he had any type of fun, so noone could speak or think about what went on between them. All the Light Gods had curfews and restrictions. Only Light Gods who completely cooperated got freedom to a degree. So they knew it was a Dark God. None of them had restrictions because Luther thought they were all on the same team. He obviously thought wrong.
Lucas was ready for a fight, for more power. He was deprived for so long. The memory of all the power they held was destroying all his resolve. He was ready to fight. He needed the thrill he use to get from causing wars In different dimensions. The thrill was just a distant memory as of now and he needed to feel it. There was a bang on their table and everyone looked up to Luther smiling at them.
"Let's go it's time to get down to business." Luther said with a smile that no God should trust. A smile that meant bad things were coming. Lucas was the first to jump up. Everyone else was quick to follow. As soon as Luther stood up in the front of the room to speak the room got quiet.
"As all of you could see that Mazaya and I are happily married and shes just exhausted." Luther said with the confidence of a God meaning business.
"Now the law that I will be enforcing is curfew. Nobody is aloud out after 2 mortal days. The curfew will last once the day restarts in this realm. This is an official law and any violaters of this law will be prosecuted and your magic will be revoked for 1000 mortal days. This goes for all Gods besides Gods on the Royal high table." Luther said with pure authority.
"You can't do that what about Gods who thrive off of the land and Gods who need Darkness to help regenerate Themselves." Lili The Goddess of Nature stated. There were multiple agreements.
"And what about those of us who are never truly in the magical realm? Are we forced to come back and not leave until curfew?" Whiro The God of death asked.
Luther looked at Whiro and smiled he was one of the few Gods he trusted. "You're free to come and go as you please. I'll send out a list of those who dont have to follow curfew. Anyone not on the list is expected to and Lili you'll have to create a garden in your house or something. Any God who needs Darkness I recommend you cut a sun roof in your house so darkness can come in." Luther said unapologetically.
"You can't do this. It's illegal." Kye screamed. "Look at what he's doing. It will only get worse from here. We are GODS not prisoners" Kye said looking around the room. He needed Allies. The only problem is with Mazaya in the state she was it was to dangerous for anyone to stand up. Everyone would have to bide their time.
"It's not illegal and It's already a law. All of the Laws are already created and enforced. You all will be taking a packet full of the new laws. I hope you study them because the consequences will be dire." Kali The Goddess of Destruction said with a huge smile on her face. She used some magic to give every God a copy of the new laws. This day was going better than planned. Almost every God would follow the laws no questions asked due to fear.
