The heart of men is surrounded by darkness, perhaps that's why our shadows are dark, they always appear behind us when we are in the light, a constant reminder of what we are. The feeling of peace and safety is irritating to our very being. As time passes we just wait and wait, to the point we get populated and then we resolve to kill ourselves again. We love war and danger, it makes us believe we are alive. That has always been the way of things from the very beginning. Monsters we all are.
We all want a clean slate at one point or another. That simply means we get to leave our old lives in pursuit of a new one, a better and happier one. But most fail to acknowledge the monster we create in the life we left behind is never far, it only waits till the time it no longer can. Well, in this case, the monster is at the doorstep of this chief Patrick Otobele.
