"The food tastes really great, right Sama" Kevin said looking at Sama.
"Yeah, great" Sama said with a fake smile.
"Thank you so much" said the woman who prepared the meal.
After lunch everyone dispersed and formed their own group of friends.
Sama and Aria sat under a tree. Kevin tagged along.
"The weather was perfect. Right." Aria said.
"Yes, totally perfect. I think we can go for a walk." Sama said.
"Ahhh…. Let me sit for a while. I am full. My legs are hurting." Aria said faking a leg pain.
"Your stomach is stuffed with food so your legs are hurting, right." Sama said making fun of Aria.
"Exactly," said Aria putting on an exhausted face.
"Then, I will go with you. Come on let's go for a walk. Leave her here." Kevin said.
"No way, I am not agreeing with this." Aria said with a sudden energy.
"You can't be alone with him, understand." Aria said to Sama secretly.
"I can hear you" Kevin said.
"I am not afraid of you. I am just worried about my friend." Aria replied.
"Fine, fine, let's just sit here, no need for a walk." Sama said to stop their little fight.
"Ok, let me relax here for a while." Aria said placing her hands under her head and leaning on the tree.
"Glutinous pig," Kevin said.
Aria teased him back making a funny face.
Sama chuckled softly seeing them.
Aria took headphones out of her bag and put them on and went back to her relaxed position. She's relaxing under a tree listening to her favourite music.
Kevin adjusted his position to relax for a while.
Kevin looked at the sky and smiled.
"What! What's so funny?" Sama asked.
"You know what" Kevin started saying something.
"How could I know if you don't say anything" Sama said.
"Did you crack a joke just now" Kevin asked with an confused expression.
"Leave it, say, what is it." Sama asked.
"This is my first time having lunch with so many members." Kevin said looking at the sky again.
"Why!, don't you guys have dinner together with other hunters" Sama asked.
"We don't even meet up, talking about having meals together! No way" Kevin said laughing sadly.
"Then..... Your family.?" Sama asked.
"Family! ….. yeah family. Not everyone will have a family." Kevin said.
"I am sorry." Sama said.
"Why? Do you kill my mom and dad." Kevin laughed saying this.
Sama sighed as she has nothing to say.
Sama remembered last night's talk with Kevin.
"But, you said you were friends with Kaiden right." Sama asked.
"Yes" Kevin said.
"Then why don't you hang out with him." Sama asked.
"I think him as my friend, but he's not as generous as I am." Kevin replied.
Sama understood that there's no real bonding between them.
She nodded her head.
"Ah…. Right. When will be our next meal." Kevin asked.
"What! I mean…. We ate just now" Sama said.
"I know, but I am hungry again after talking so much.
Moreover this is my first meal after some years." Kevin replied.
"Years!... how can you be alive without eating." Sama asked curiously.
"We are not alive. We are not human beings to have birthday and death day." Kevin replied.
"But, you ate just now. You will be ok right, without any problems, like physically or your powers." Sama asked.
"Wow someone is worrying about me. Don't worry my friend. There will be no effect of food on us, we can eat anything and everything." Kevin replied.
"Be honest with me, okay." Sama said.
"Ok, ask me anything, I will answer, because I am happy now" Kevin replied.
"What's your age now?" Sama questioned.
"May be 600 years" Kevin replied so casually counting on fingers.
"What...!" Sama was astonished.
"Then.... Ryan?" Sama asked.
"Ryan is younger than me. Maybe 400" Kevin replied.
"Hundreds.....!" Sama said in a low voice talking to herself.
"Hey, tell me the truth. You are interested in Ryan, right." Kevin asked.
"Nothing like that. I just know him, so I am curious," Sama replied.
"You can talk me, you know, I can help you get him." Kevin said teasing her.
"Get him…!" Sama said.
Kevin laughed looking at Sama's uncomfortable expression.
