Ayana also followed the man and retreated several steps. Every time the man took a step, she would also do the same. The man finally stopped when there was a meter gap between them. The black stone was right in the middle.
"Remember, the words you said inside the circle were not just simple terms. They have consequences and it could bind you the moment both of you agree on it," Mira warned as she glanced at both of them.
Ayana nodded her head. It was when she realized that something was strange. Her mind was so occupied by the scribes in the stone and the man that she realized Mira's voice was so close to her ears.
Ayana turned to Mira who stood several feet from them in surprise. There should be some magic trick to amplify the woman's voice around them without her having to shout from that distance.
