"That was just a rumor. He is….. affectionate," Ayana's smile froze for a millisecond when she felt goosebumps in several places in her body when she remembered the man's overly affectionate behavior.
"That is great." Bryana patted her chest with relief. When she noticed that Ayana still observed her, she quickly explained, "I was worried he treated you badly when I read about the article."
"He will not hurt me since I am his wife," Ayana said reassuringly as she patted her sister's hand. The truth may be that he could not hurt her because of the treaty between District 2 and District 4, but yeah, she wanted to test the water.
