Chapter 5 - Arrival of Cousins and Bad News

She gingerly picked up her granddaughter and carried her to her room. There, she entered her bathroom and placed Leo on the floor.

"Well, I'm not going to touch that stuff. Undress yourself."

"Right, right."

Leo began to undress, but very soon she was distracted. Veronica was also undressing.

As soon as Leo saw that unreal body, the perfect glistening skin and the beads of sweat, the massive thighs and unbelievable melon-sized breasts, she was entranced.

It took her quite some time to snap out of it.

Finally, Veronica washed her off before allowing her to get in the bathtub.

"I thought you said it was hot. This is nothing."

Leo sat on Veronica's lap, otherwise she would be fully submerged.

"Well, I guess you passed that test."

Veronica laid back and exhaled. She was relaxed.

Leo suddenly had an idea.

At times like this, Vorya would manifest in her.

Very slowly, Leo turned around to face Veronica. Veronica paid no mind. She was at peace.

Carefully, Leo moved both hands up from Veronica's groin. She gently traced her belly button, but did not linger for too long.

Soon, she arrived at the chest, and there she stopped. She lingered just below Veronica's breasts.

Veronica had already realized what was happening, but she chose to ignore it. Now, though, she found herself growing impatient.

"If you're going for it, just do it." She spat. She seemed almost angry but was mostly unable to deal with the teasing.

"Heh, heh."

Leo then started to caress her beautiful grandmother. When dealing with a divine body such as hers, Leo could do this for hours and hours.

She carefully moved from different points of the breast, finally arriving at the areola. She traced that splendidly colored patch of skin, leaving Veronica in anticipation.

Finally, Leo pinched her nipples, softly at first, and tugged on them as well. Then she got a bit less gentle, pulling harder and pinching more fiercely. Veronica could no longer stifle a soft moan.

Leo snickered softly, an intoxicated smile on her face.

She then kept massaging one of them while she sucked on the other.

"Mm... I don't have-- ahh... Any milk you know..."

Leo laughed.

"Or do you?"

Now, with her feet, she crept in on Veronica's sweet spot. Her eyes widened the moment Leo touched upon the holy land between her legs.

With her tiny toes, Leo applied just the right amount of force. The way she moved them allowed Veronica to experience a whole new world of pleasure.

Leo smiled at her blushing face and open mouth, but then a sinister look crept upon her face.

Slowly, Leo pushed her foot down.

As soon as it went in, Veronica's rosy tongue, coated in thick saliva, lolled out.

"Ahhhh... Don't... Don't... Do not stop.... More..."

Shockingly, Leo watched as Veronica grabbed her and pushed her leg into her. Leo was now pressed up tightly against Veronica's ample bosom, covered in water and sweat.

Leo's leg was inside of her, but she clearly wanted more.

Leo was being lifted up and pushed back down, her leg thrusting deeper and deeper into her grandmother as the water splashed.

Veronica's sweet secretions acted as a lubricant, allowing Leo to reach as deep as possible.

Finally, Veronica climaxed and fell limp.

"Greater Admiration auto-purchased."

After the notification, Leo climbed up on her grandmother's heaving chest.

She was understandably out of breath.

Leo's skill allowed her to feel a bit of what Veronica felt, which made her look forward to the days where her body would mature.

As she sat on Veronica's breasts, she leaned forward and started to suck on her tongue.

Veronica responded by locking Leo in a fierce kiss, one which they stayed in for quite some time.

Finally, they left the bath and slept together.

The next day, Veronica seemed to be in a splendid mood.

She got up early and prepared breakfast for everyone, even the maids.

Then, she took Leo out for a stroll on the grounds.

In a distant gazebo at the far end of the property, where no one could see, Leo was pressed up between Veronica's legs, licking and sucking with great fervor and passion.

Veronica was reduced to a moaning, twitching mess, as she came over and over, squirting her juices all over Leo. Leo very much delighted in that.

As such, both she and Leo were happy.

They would often spend their days like this now, and Leo never again slept in her crib.

The Eslon Manor soon saw the arrival of two distant relatives. They were the nieces of Veronica, whom she had adopted and employed after the death of her sister.

The young adults, Fae and Leusa.

The silver haired beauties were immediately loved by young Leo. They, too, were captivated by the deep scarlet of Leo's eyes.

Fae and Leusa were raised by Veronica in her lesser days- when she had more time on her hands.

Fae became the woman in charge of Veronica's production. Under her guidance, the annual produce increased by almost four times.

As for Leusa, she was responsible for distribution of said produce. She was to ensure that those in her employ had the best crops, finest cloth and cotton, and the highest quality of building material.

She was also responsible for management. She had more or less hired 80% of the newer employees, and was steadily on her way to making the entire process four times as fast as previous years.

Together, they pushed Veronica's business to a new height, making it an adversary of even the royals.

It had to be known that the royal family and nobility dominated every market for centuries.

For Veronica, Fae and Leusa to rise to such a height was naught but testament to their impeccable business sense, skill and, of course, the quality of their goods.

Fae brought back unsettling news for Veronica.

A strange phenomenon had occurred, first affecting one of the smaller fields.

The crops weren't affected much at first, but the problem persisted despite every trick in the farmer's book.

This was what was undoubtedly strange.

After a few weeks, the air grew pungent. Over and around all of the Eslon fields, a thick cloud of gas lingered.

Fae was horrified to see entire plants and trees being slowly devoured before her very eyes.

With haste, she returned to Veronica, only to find Leusa also heading back.

Apparently, a number of workers were quitting. Little investigation was needed for Leusa to find out that the workers that quit went on to do similar jobs for companies belonging to the nobility.

Leusa had suspicions that the nobles had bribed her workers.

Not wanting the problem to spiral out of control, Leusa left for the manor before too many workers quit.

Together, they brought their reports to Veronica.

Veronica, with baby Leo resting in her bosom, listened to them with a calm expression.

When they were finished, she smiled and looked down at the child in her arms.

"Fae, Leusa, meet your cousin Leo."

Leo yawned, slid down to Veronica's lap and then sat up straight, shocking the duo.

"Well, Gram, looks like we were right. We've been recognized as a threat."

Veronica chuckled, a sense of accomplishment in her smile.

"Just as we thought. They even employed one of the tactics you suspected they would."

As grandmother and granddaughter exchanged words, Fae and Leusa remained stunned.

"This child talks?"

"Nevermind that. She predicted this would happen?"

Leo looked down her nose at them, not on purpose but naturally.

"Of course I did. I also have already figured out exactly how they did it and, as such, know how to deal with them." Leo's confident smile and Veronica's calm look were irrefutable.

Fae and Leusa could only begin to be convinced.

"Well? Are you going to tell us?"

With that Veronica closed her eyes and tapped Leo's shoulder twice.

"Be quick."

With that, Leo waved her hand. A glittering stream flew out from her palm and descended on the girls, covering them instantly.

"Sadly, my persuasion isn't high enough. I'll have to rectify that with some good old fashioned peer pressure. But that comes later."

Relying on 'Greater Understanding,' Leo quickly perused the minds of Fae and Leusa.

"Like I said, Gram. Paranoid. They haven't betrayed you in any way shape or form. Everything they say is true."

Veronica heaved a sigh and smiled again.

"Now then. The fields. Gram did some research and it turns out that they used a rare variation of organism. They're very small, and can only be bred in highly toxic conditions."

"My guess is that the nobles found a number of such organisms and then used a neglected field of ours to slowly rear them. That was why the effect was not as bad in the beginning."

Hearing this, realization came upon the silver-haired sisters and they nodded.

"Now, the solution. It's quite simple really. A decomposing corpse is the most attractive thing to these lifeforms besides poison. If large

corpses were to be placed at strategic points throughout the fields, they would flock to them."

"Once that happens, remove the corpses and, if necessary, replace them. A simple purification process will restore the field, and all will be well."

Leo then gave a knowing smile upon seeing Fae about to ask a question.

"But won't they be able to just drop off some more of the organisms and restart the problem?"

"Yes and no. They can drop off more and more organisms, depending on how much they have, but the problem can never 'restart' as you say."

"The thing about these organisms is that they have an ironically symbiotic effect."

Fae and Leusa's eyes widened and they leaned forward in their seats.

"For example, a field of crops. If they were released on those crops, their toxins would surely kill everything. But, apart from the toxins, they also dispel something in their faeces of a pure nature. This kind of thing persists in the face of any poison, and simply needs a mere purification process in order to be used."

"What is the effect?" Fae asked.

"In the face of purification, the faeces amplifies the process, making that which is purified of an even higher quality than before. It will be of such a quality that the organisms will not be able to thrive once put there and will die. Now you see why we did not act to stop the attack."

Leo chuckled, admiring the shocked looks on the sisters' faces.

"This level of scheming is more than praiseworthy. What about my problem, then?"

Leo frowned and made a show of bouncing around a few ideas in her head.

"We'll deal with that later. Until then, keep business running as normal."

"You truly have thought of a lot of things. But there's one thing you've overlooked."

Leo pretended to be offended and quickly responded, "What?"

"We'll suffer a huge setback. The time needed to replant will cause us to be unable to meet our demands. We'll lag behind the competition."

Leo smiled and then lay herself down on Veronica once more.

"I've been experimenting in preservation for months now without any of you knowing. I've secretly bought off a number of suppliers and used their goods for my tests."

"What are you getting at, Aunt?"

With a chuckle, Veronica stroked Leo's growing hair.

"I've stored enough goods to last us almost three years. They're all just as fresh as they were the moment of harvest and will remain that way for well over four years."

"What!?" In unison, the sisters shot to their feet and cried out.

Veronica and Leo shared a laugh.

"Also, Gram has been investing in real estate. Our apartments will be up for rent by the end of the week."

After a while of explaining what apartments actually were, Fae and Leusa were thoroughly convinced that Leo was absolutely monstrous.

This young genius would lead the Eslon family to days of unprecedented prosperity.

However, not even Veronica was privy to the ambitious thoughts in Leo's head.

For where she saw progress, Leo saw nothing but a small step toward a larger, more unbelievable goal:

Ruling the entire kingdom.

Fae and Leusa spoke with Veronica and Leo for a while longer. They made sure that the two completely understood what would happen moving forward.

Leusa was still confused as to what she was supposed to do.

"How am I supposed to deal with the loss of even more workers?"

Leo sighed and shook her head.

"Since you don't understand yet, I'll explain it to you."

Veronica and Fae also listened close.

"Once all those that are disloyal enough to leave us for temporary riches are gone, we will be left with a certain assurance."

"We will be certain that those that remain are completely loyal to us."

Leusa nodded.

"Then you promote them, and I'll handle the rest. All that requires is a little shift in my plans."
