2 months have passed since that conversation with Treyah Tuldani. Meanwhile, Eli has decided to train under Allatou, in the hope of mastering her power. It was her choice, so no one did anything to stop her. The young girl would after all not stay a child forever. Besides, Allatou would be suicidal to try anything when the child is protected by the Talvit lineage.
Secessus Solum Luciel sits in the magnificent garden of the Talvit estate taking in the unrealistic view. These plants that do not seem to fit in this realm and the red light that acts as the sun are 2 things that he will probably never fully adapt to.
The emerald-eyed demon sits there alone, knowing full well what will come. He knew it as soon as he woke up this day. Something felt different, the voice that has been telling him to go and look had grown more urgent. He felt fulfilled with what he had done these past years. He created bonds that he had never expected and spent time with people who become precious to him.
Friendship and trust are like a bridge. A bridge takes its time to be made and has to be made properly. For a bridge that took time but was made without a steady foundation will still fall apart. However, there are those other bridges, that are built so well that they can stand the test of time. That even if you want to break them, you cannot.
It was ironic, hypocritical, and unexpected. When he passed away in his previous life, he knew he was loved yet still felt lonely. Now he finally is healthy and has found these connections. But still, something doesn't feel quite right. But is it worth risking everything that has been built so far?
A sensible person would say no. Unfortunately, Secessus discovered that his sensibility might have never been that formidable.
Slowly, he raises his hand in the air. The sign for a servant to come toward him. The well-trained servants of this prestigious household quickly notice this sign and move toward him.
"Is there anything you need, sir?"
"Send word to the first sight. Tell him to prepare." The shade demon announces, still looking at his surroundings.
For the first time during his stay, the servant does not immediately confirm. The normally obedient servant of this household seems hurt or at least slightly saddened.
"Of course, sir. Your word is my command." The servant says, returning to his former polite self.
As the servant returns to the mansion, rumblings begin to spread throughout it. It seems that words spread quickly and that it has caused some confusion.
Staying in this garden, the servant approaches Secessus once again.
"The message has been delivered, sir. The first sight wishes to notify you that he can even do what you requested today."
"I guess it's time to go." The shade demon says softly.
Creating his wings made out of mana, he prepares to take off quickly.
"Aren't you going to say goodbye, sir?" The servant asks hesitantly.
The shade demon does not reply, taking off with incredible speed.
The first place he flies to is a room on the third floor of the Talvit estate. The emerald-eyed demon lands gently on the balcony and knocks on the window door.
A younger devil girl opens the door. She seems surprised by this strange approach of her elder brother.
"What's going on?" Eli asks, feeling worried.
Secessus looks into the room. There is quite a bit of company as he can see Allatou, Araam, and Abbadon. It seems that Secessus has disturbed some lesson that Allatou was giving.
"I will be gone for quite some time. I came to say goodbye." The shade demon says, sounding way too nonchalant for this situation.
"I refuse." Eloisa says firmly.
"This is not goodbye, brother. It is see you later. Don't think you can ditch me this easily." The small devil girl says in an assured and confident tone.
Secessus begins to slowly pat Eli. A small smirk appeared on his face.
"You're right, see you later, Eli." The shade demon says before he swiftly departs again.
This time, the shade demon moves toward the ground floor. A place where he can find a familiar blindfolded figure. Leilaya the seer sits there with Randyl the imp. Secessus now stands before the two, seemingly hesitant.
"Have a safe trip." Leilaya simply says, revealing all he needed to know.
"Goodbye, Leilaya, Randyl" The shade demon says toward the two figures.
A vibrant smile appears on Leilaya's face. Quite the unusual sight for the calm and reserved seer.
"See you later, Secessus." The orange-haired woman simply replies, her smile not yet faded.
"Bye, mister!" Randyl the imp yells loudly. Trying to swiftly say his own farewell.
Secessus quickly disappears from sight using the speed of his mana created wings.
The imp now turns toward his mistress with curiosity-filled eyes.
"Did you see a vision, mistress? Did you see him returning?" The imp asks excitedly.
"No, I did not, Randyl." Leilaya replies in a soothing tone, a small smile still on her face.
"Then why did you say see you later if we're not going to see him again?" The imp asks, genuinely confused.
"I don't need a vision to know that we will meet again."

The shade demon arrives quickly at the now familiar church. At the front door stands Treyah Tuldani, the first sight, and correspondent of his message.
"You've arrived in quick the hurry. Any particular reason?" The first sight of the church asks, perhaps more out of politeness than genuine interest.
"Yes." The shade demon replies in a dry tone, making clear that he doesn't wish to talk about it.
"Follow me." Treyah says politely, ignoring Secessus's rudeness.
Being led through the same hallway underneath the statue of Luciel, they pass by the "treatment" room. Recalling the memory, shivers pass by Secessus's spine.
"It's probably a bit late to ask. But what exactly is going to happen?"
