After this meeting with the first sight, Secesssus returns to the Talvit estate. Another 2 months pass by as he decides to stay a little while longer. Strengthening their bonds and creating precious memories.
An event occurred during these 2 months, as an unexpected visitor arrived at the Talvit estate.
"Somebody wants to talk with me?" Eloisa asks the butler, who has delivered her some strange news.
"Yes, my lady." The well-trained butler replies in a polite tone.
"Who is it?" She asks, not hiding her curiosity.
"It appears to be Allatou, a former member of the council of sights."
"Did she say why?"
"No, my lady."
"Lead me to her, then." Eloisa softy commands the servant.
Before entering the meeting room, a familiar headless knight stands before the door.
"Idrilth! Are you joining me?" The young devil girl asks excitedly.
"Indeed, your safety is of the utmost importance."
"Will there be anyone else?"
"His lordship Tharnomath is already inside. No one else will be joining us." Idrilth says, informing ElI of the situation.
Having heard enough, the young devil confidently enters. Sitting on opposite sides are Allatou and Tharnomath discussing something. It does not seem to be intense, as both appear relatively relaxed.
"Greetings, I am Eloisa Calliope Aurora. You wanted to speak with me?" The young girl says, keeping an assured tone.
The beautiful dark-skinned devil with long, almost wool-like hair gaze shifts toward the younger girl who introduced herself.
"Indeed, I am Allatou, but I expect that you've already been informed."
"I was." Eli responds, confirming that Allatou's introduction was not necessary.
"Come closer, I want to take a good look at you." Allatou says whilst beckoning the child.
Eli quickly looks toward Tharnomath who in response just gives an affirmative nod.
She walks closer now sitting next to this visitor. Allatou's eyes glisten shortly as her eyebrows furrow.
"mmmmh, that's annoying." The devil with sheep features murmurs underneath her breath.
"What is?" Eli asks, feeling rather uncomfortable being stared at this heavily.
"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Allatou says, retracting her inquisitive stare.
"Sit down, I'll explain everything." Allatou continues pointing toward the seat next to Tharnomath. Making it rather clear where Eli is supposed to sit down.
Eli in an act of unwarranted defiance decides to sit down next to Allatou. Making it quite clear that she did not appreciate Allatou's subtle command.
"Anyway, you are the reincarnated summoned by Hudan correct?"
"Yes, I am."
"Hudan wanted a reincarnated that had the same abilities as me, and he succeeded, it seems."
"What do you mean?"
"Both our magics lie in our voice. However, it does appear that there is a difference."
"What difference?" Tharnomath asks intervening in this conversation.
"I have the voice of creation, and it appears this little girl has the voice of destruction. Inherently, they are quite similar. However, obviously, they have other purposes."
"What do you know about Hudan's little project?" Tharnomath asks, trying to figure out the extent of Allatou's involvement.
"Not a lot, I was once asked by Treyah and Hudan to use my magical ability to try to create a doorway between realms. It failed, of course, the idea that any being could freely travel between realms is ridiculous. Reincarnates are special for that reason, are they not? Beings that have accidentally traversed realms. What's next? Trying to melt the realms together? Oh, right before I continue, try to insinuate anything else about me and that freak show of a scientist again, and I'll swear to Luciel, I will kill you Tharnomath." Allatou says her killing intent, slowly and elegantly mixing with her surrounding.
"Still, why did you come here? I don't understand." Eli interjects herself in the little fight between the powerful devils.
"I wish to train the girl." Allatou declares without a shred of doubt.
"She's in capable hands, your offer is unnecessary." Tharnomath immediately replies, shutting down the idea.
Allatou turns sideways, looking at Eli with a serious gaze.
"I came to ask her, not you. Keep quiet!" Allatou says the sound of the voice still sounds elegant, even though her words are filled with venom. Her vision, not budging from the devil girl for even a second.
"You'ill be trained here to control it. Nothing more, nothing else. For the simple reason that they do not wield magic related to the primary senses themselves. You cannot teach something you've not mastered yourself. However, child, I can teach you how to master it. I can help you shape your own path. No longer do you have to be kept in the dark, waiting for others to solve your problems."
Eli does not reply, doubt and internal conflict can be easily read off her face.
"I was also once like you, protected, cared for… Loved." The devil with beautiful wool like hair says as she slowly caresses the small girl's cheek.
"What happened to them?" Eloisa asks, sensing the hesitation in Allatou's voice.
"They died."
"How?"
"Does it matter? The only thing that should matter is what you do next. Do you grief their loss? Do you panic for the protection you've lost? Or will you continue onward, realizing that the cage called "protection" is still a cage, however cozy it might have been."
Again, Eli falls silent, clearly having not expected this offer.
Allatou stands up, preparing to leave.
"Think about it, child. My offer will not disappear. If you wish to accept, ask Tharnomath to contact me. It seems that the frost tyrant has grown soft, so he will comply." Allatou calmly explains.
"Don't push your luck." Tharnomath says, warning the leaving figure.
"When I'm involved, it's never a matter of luck, Tharnomath." Allatou says, not even turning around to face the frost tyrant's golden eyes.
"What should I do?" Eli asks out loud.
"Eloisa Calliope Aurora." Tharnomath says in a firm and assertive tone, which easily grabs the attention of the young devil before him.
"You are protected by us the golden lineage of devils called "Talvit" and the adopted sister of the champion of the "Blood of Luciel" Tournament. But most importantly, you're a smart and strong girl yourself."
"…"
"Do what you want. Live how you want. Because no one will be able to touch you. I can guarantee you that." Tharnomath says without a shred of doubt. Certainty and confidence fill his six golden eyes. But something else more notable was also hidden in those eyes, greatly shaking the small girl.
It was trust, six golden eyes filled with certainty, confidence, and trust.
