In the hospital,
Irene woke up there with her body feeling sluggish here and there. She can see the trace and smell of her husband, Victor there even though the man is not there inside the room at the moment.
She looks at her surroundings and see that she is alone here with an IV drip in her hand. She didn't have to see her face in the mirror to know that surely her face was now bruised as it still hurt due to the slap and punch that she received before.
Her memory of last night's incident began to manifest little by little. Her hands continued to hold her stomach at that moment. Started to think whether her baby would survive or not as she remembered that she felt too much pain in her stomach before fainting.
