Chapter 10 - enigmatic power II

Esteban looked around confused, he remembered going to bed to sleep and the next moment he was here. A totally white world as far as he can see. The place was so big and white that Esteban couldn't pinpoint the left to the right, forward or backward. The only place he thought he needed was below, where he was standing.

Right in front of him two small patches of darkness appeared and began to grow and take shape.

"Impossible!" Esteban exclaimed surprised and a little scared.

In front of him were 2 people, but to be more precise to say that he was a single person but from different times.

In front of him was himself.

More specifically in front of him were 2 Esteban, but these were his me from his past life, where his name was not Esteban, so it was wrong to call them that.

Rafael.

That was his name in his past life.

The two Rafaels in front of him were 5 years old and 28 years old respectively. They were both very ordinary in appearance, one of his old insecurities.

Both Rafael in front of him completely ignored him and looked at each other.

Something that Esteban could see from the outside was that in his battle of looks, the winner was undoubtedly the 5-year-old Rafael. There was something in his gaze, a firmness that the 28-year-old Rafael couldn't match.

Little Rafael looked at the big Rafael in disappointment.

"I thought you would be better than me."

Big Rafael was surprised for a moment before giggling.

"I'm better than you."

Esteban fully agreed with his statements. The me of him that 28 of him was definitely 100 better than the 5-year-old, he had much more knowledge, experiences, qualities and skills that he perfected over the years.

But contrary to what the big Rafael and Esteban expected, the small Rafael pointed to him and with clear will go and disappointment in his voice he yelled at her.

"Then why are you a bloody failure? !!"

The big Rafael did not know what to say, he tried many times to open his mouth and respond, but he felt that he would only be making excuses.

Slowly the little Rafael began to disappear and the big Rafael turned to stare at him. He didn't say anything, he just looked at him. But Esteban did not need words, his gaze was exactly the same that little Rafael had when questioning him.

Esteban clenched his fist and wanted to answer him, shout loudly that he was better than he was.

But exactly what was better than the old me of his I know 28 years?

Esteban fought with himself not to lower his head and stare at him. A few seconds later the adult Rafael also disappeared and everything around him changed from nothing.

Now they were in a large round room with crystal clear water as a floor, but it couldn't be seen because of the darkness that filled the room. The only source of light in the room was a large black door with the Frames glowing a mystical, heavenly blue.

Esteban looked around curiously, walked slowly towards the great door creating small ripples in the crystal clear water. But Esteban ignored this, he only focused on the great door since he felt that he was being called.

That great door was calling out to him.

When his hands touched the great door it opened and a great ray of light blinded him, when he opened his eyes again the landscape around him had changed again.

But this time it was a big change.

He couldn't hear anything clearly just a big sound that he couldn't identify and it deafened him. He was sitting with two tightly gripped belts, but it wasn't what caught his attention.

Looking around him he saw a large, long corridor with seats on both sides and people holding tightly like him. With a more detailed observation Esteban discovered where he was.

He was on a plane !!

How the hell was he on a plane?

Esteban's breathing began to accelerate and he was threatening to have a panic attack, when suddenly blue words appeared floating in front of him.

[SURVIVE]

The long corridor of the plane began to light up a red that blinked from time to time. The large hatch at the back of the hall began to slowly open as the wind came in strongly and the people around it began to jump from time to time.

When everyone had jumped and he was the only one in the cabin, Esteban felt like a supernatural force welcomed him and forcefully threw him out of the plane against his will.

"What the hell?"

The wind on his face moved his cheeks in a funny way as Esteban panicked. His body spun in a chaotic way through the air, he tried many times to regain his balance but his body just spun more and more.

In one of his few lucid seconds he saw a large island fast approaching and several parachute figures slowly falling to it.

Esteban looked behind him and realized that he also had one but he did not know how to use it, before he could think anything else, he saw how the ocean was practically in his face.

The next thing he felt was pain, unimaginable pain, and he stood up with a frightened cry.

"Ahhhhh."

His scream was so loud that he lifted Jeison up.

"Are you okay?"

Esteban wanted to nod but he ran quickly to the bathroom and vomited everything he had in his stomach.

Everything had already happened but he still felt the dizziness of going around so much, in addition to the pain of being cruelly crushed against the ocean which made him shiver a little.

What was that?

"Are you okay Esteban?" Jeison asked worriedly behind him.

"Yes." Esteban asntio. "I just had a nightmare."

Esteban washed his face and looked at himself in the mirror. He could still remember everything in full detail, which was weird if that was just a dream.

Is it my power?

A power that allows me similar skydiving in real life?

No!

The words clearly said SURVIVE.

Esteban gritted his teeth and went back to sleep. Like the first time he barely had the idea of sleeping he fell asleep on his pillow.

Everything developed exactly the same as before.

The two Rafael.

His judging look.

The big room with the door.

The cockpit of the plane.

The island.

And even his death.

Everything happened again and he showed her that it was not just a dream.

Esteban got up again but this time he was very tired and weak.

When he fell asleep again, he could not enter those places again because of his fatigue.
