"Uncle..."
Uncle Mikel glanced at me before looking at the twisting road ahead. I had to talk to him because of what I had seen from home. But I couldn't figure out what it was, and something inside me kept me from getting into a straight fight. I have to follow my instincts, but I don't know why. I took a deep breath and looked away from my Uncle as I did so.
"Do you have something to say?" my Uncle asked me.
"I don't know what to do with the security guard's family," I said with the weight of my thoughts. Even though that thought did cross my mind, it wasn't what I wanted to say to my Uncle.
"But why not?" Uncle said, and the words came out of their mouths with a sense of power and knowledge. "He died while doing his work. No, you didn't kill him."
"Still, I feel it's my fault that he died."
Uncle Mikel said, "Don't think that because it's untrue."
